After six seasons I think it is time for this show to release a DVD. You can cast a vote on my list at www.rateitall.com.

Lori and Bolo could be an interesting relationship to watch. They yell a lot but that could stem more from being professional wrestlers.

Looking at Johnathan and Victoria, I can't help but think that we may have another Collin and Christy on our hands. I think he and Bolo will probably get into it at some point.

Gus and Hera won't last much longer. The father is a wimp. He does not seem to understand that the Amazing Race is just that, a race. Insisting that his daughter not run, choosing the clearly slower of the two detour choices, and do they even have speed limits on the roads in Iceland?

I would love nothing more than to see an all female team make history and win this race, but I don't think it will be Meridith and Maria. Did anyone else notice that they got so far behind the other teams that they had to create a special shuttle bus just for them?

Lena and Kristy seem like a strong team, as do Kris and Jon.

I'm sure if I'm going to like this season, since the teams are mostly dating, which gets boring and confusing, but last night's episode was good.
Bolo and Lori were fighting the whole time, but it was fun to watch. I don't remember the other teams that much, but I'm rooting for the grandparents, Mary Jean and I forgot his name :p

His name is Don.

Yes, I'm not so sure I take Lori and Bolo's fighting seriously. I think it is just a given that professional wrestling is fake. I find it more comical than anything else; almost like Kevin and Drew arguing.

With Last Comic Standing cancelled, The Amazing Race is the best reality show.

I really liked the premiere.
I hope the "Married Enterpaneurs" loose.... the guy is SO annoying.

I wanted the "two jews from NY" to win.... but they lost in the first episode.
Now I want the grandparents to win.

I don't like wrestling (at all).... but I know its not fake.
Staged.... maybe.
But not fake.

This season looks great. I don't like Jonathan and Victoria(the Married couple). He's a loudmouth 20 times worse than Colin last year. I hate the Father/Daughter team. He doesn't believe it's a race and we really didn't need to see him half-naked on top of a glacier Tuesday Night. Disgusting. :barf:

Who else wanted to see that one guy fall off the boat and drown.... I know that sounds mean, but he's way too "intense," as his wife nicely puts it.

So far, I don't really see any teams that I'm rooting for, although the sisters from Queens seem fairly ordinary and likeable. Ditto for the grandparents. I don't see the cast as being as good as last summer. TAR basically has next year's emmy wrapped up, and it could submit any one of several episodes from that season and win handily. This season I don't see being as good, but after something as good as we just saw last summer, it's hard to think that anything would be as good.

On the ratings front, the show drew a 5.0/12 in adults and 11.8mil viewers- its best opening numbers ever. It'll rank in the top 20 adults on the season with this performance and in the top 30 in adults. Being a TAr fan has never been so sweet.

After seeing them fall behind in Iceland and producers having to give them their own bus, I pretty much assumed Merredith and Maria were doomed from the start. Too slow, too easily fooled. No real surprise last night.

Common sense, you get a clue, you hold on to the clue, you don't go back to the clue box and steel someone else's clue. As soon as I saw that, I knew Freddy and Kendra would get a penalty.

Can't stand that wrestling couple. Too macho and feminine for my taste buds.

Is this the official talkback thread for The Amazing Race?

Well I was disappointed to see the sisters go, I would've rather it been one of the many dating models/actors/perfect people be eliminated...

At least the old couple is still in there!

I guess.

I love this show... :D

That was just pure bad luck with Lena and Kristy. I felt sorry for them, Lena worked 8 hours and still couldn't find the clue(hidden in haybales, but only in 20 out of 270). I also felt bad for Lori and Bolo and the Grandparents in the Detour when they were oh so close but kept missing the number of the things they had to count. That was hard, building the desk was so much quicker.
