Desperate Housewives
Episodes 10 and onward
Episode 10: Babysitting Disasters:
Lynnette ropes Julie (susan's daughter) and Danielle (bree's daughter) into watching her kids. Lynnette and Tom plan to go out to eat, but Tom has to work at last minute. Lynnette asks Bree eat with her. Andrew (bree's son) and John (gabrielle's gardner) are caught hanging out together by Gabrielle. Gabrielle also learns why Carlos was arrested-he was caught embezzling from work.
Episode 11: John's Party:
John is turning 18 years old. Gabrielle is hosting a party for him and his friends at her house (while Carlos is in jail). John invites Andrew to the party. Gabrielle spots Andrew drunk and notifies Bree. A furious Bree rushes over and drags her son from the party. Rex, days later, finds out about Andrew at the party, and is more furious with Bree for not telling him earlier. Susan and Edie call a truce and attempt to bond together, after realizing that Mike isn't interested in dating either of them and just wants to become friends.
Episode 12: Divorcing The Ones You Love:
After bumping into each other at the local hardware store, Tom and Rex talk. Rex realizes how much he loves Bree afterall (after the talk with Tom). Rex contacts Bree, the two go out to eat. Bree is very hostile with Rex and Rex is trying his best to win her back. Susan, Edie, and Gabrielle go to a spa resort, resulting in Lynnette becoming jealous that she wasn't invited. Lynnette tries to get Julie to watch her boys again, while she goes to the same resort (but ends up with no such luck).
Episode 13: John Tells Andrew:
Gabrielle finds out that John told Andrew about his on-going affair with her. Andrew tells Danielle and Julie (who tell their moms [Bree and Susan]). Susan and Bree comfront Gabrielle about her affair with John. Lynnette learns her infant daughter has a cold, she doesn't want her boys to catch the same cold-she begs her neighbors to watch her boys until her daughter is better. Instead of her boys catching the cold, Lynnette catchs the cold.
Episode 14: Christmas Pains:
Lynnette and Bree go Christmas shopping together, but both women are pushed and shoved at first and learn if they want to shop during the holidays (They have to be aggressive, and she do become aggressive). Gabrielle is once and again trying to hide her affair with John when Carlos is released from jail. Mike buys Susan and Edie some expensive gift for Christmas...but the women soon learn their gifts from Mike are identical (except Edie's was red, Susan's was green). The women comfront Mike about their gifts.
Episode 15: The Husbands Club:
Carlos, Rex, and Tom get together to go out to the bars to watch the football game and talk about their wives and other stuff. Bree, Gabrielle, Susan, Lynnette, and Edie visit Mary Alice's gravesite for the first time after the funeral.
Episode 16: John's New Girl?:
Gabrielle spots John talking to an attractive girl from school, and immediately thinks she is his new girlfriend. John sets her straight by explaining she is just a friend. Lynnette is shocked to know that (after a long talking with Tom), her three boys are behaving much better lately. Bree and Rex decide not to divorce, Rex moves back in. In the final scene, Gabrielle has taken a series of home pregnancy tests and all come up positive. Gabrielle is worried.
Episode 17: John's Or Carlos's:
Gabrielle is unsure of who is the father of her unborn child. Gabrielle confides her new pregnancy news to her girlfriends before telling Carlos and John. Edie secretly tells Gabrielle that she has been pregnant twice in the past and aborted the first one (when she was 16) and miscarried the other one (when she was 27). Bree and Rex are bound and determined to set their newly rebellious son straight after he is failing his third class in one semester.
Episode 18: Vegas, Baby: Part One
Edie, Susan, Bree, Lynnette, and Gabrielle decide to leave their husbands/families to go to Vegas. Edie and Susan go to the clubs, get wasted, and have a great time together. Bree becomes addicted to the slot machines and ends up spending more money than she planned on spending.
Episode 19: Vegas, Baby: Part Two:
The women are having a great time in Las Vegas. Bree decides to avoid gambling, but becomes weak and decides to gamble the rest of the money she has with her. Gabrielle and Lynnette have a heart-to-heart talk about being a mother and whether or not Gabrielle should keep her unborn child or not. She decides to keep the baby, but is unsure of what the men (John, Carlos) in her life will take the news. The women leave Vegas and head back to their homes.
Episode 20: The Return Of Daddy:
Susan's ex, Karl, returns to town. Karl tells Susan and Julie that he is engaged to another woman (his mistress). Susan is shocked that he is getting married soon after their divorce. Julie is angry with Karl for leaving her mom, and refuses to be at Karl's wedding. Karl spends his visit trying to change Julie's mind. Meanwhile Gabrielle tells Carlos (and John) about her pregnancy (separately of course). Carlos is surprisingly thrilled, John is worried her baby could be his. Gabrielle sees the immature side of John for the first time, but still wants to continue the affair with him. Tom, Lynnette, Bree, and Rex go out to dinner for an adults only evening, while Edie and Danielle watch Lynnette's kids.
