The Bobbie Appreciation Thread

I know for some, she is not a favorite on the show, but in my opinion, she is a diamond in the rough. Jennifer Coolidge has great comedic talent. As seen in such shows as Frasier, Seinfeld and in several movies including the American Pie Series. This thread is simply intended to hopefully get fans to appreciate Bobbie.

Bobbie: Look, I’m a straight shooter, but I’ll tell ya something else about me. I am the best. There is nothing that I wouldn’t do for you. I would..throw on a meat skirt and wrestle a lion. I would pull off my own ears and eat them.

Bobbi: Well, they do need a host for this new entertainment news show. It’s not really acting, but it may work since you have such a tremendous head.

Bobbi: Oh, who’s the model? I’d like to keep that little piece of chicken in my pocket and snack on him all day.

Bobbie: Oh, absolutely. (Picks up the phone and dials random numbers) Hi. Halle Berry. My client has a sister who’s a barber. Could she do your hair for the Oscars? (Hangs up)

Bobbi: Joey, I’m not here to do you personal favors. Let me explain how this agent thing works. First, you become famous, and then I’ll kiss your ass. But until then, let’s keep it strictly professional.

Bobbie: So, Michael, how do you feel about full frontal nudity?

Michael: I'm not an actor.

Bobbie: Oh yes, I know.

Oh dear God, Brian...do I detect a little obsession?

Let's just say I actually like the actress who plays the agent, and in this thread I'm keeping my mouth shut about the character. Just for your sake, Damage.

I think Jennifer Coolidge is hilarious, and Bobbie would probably be dead weight if anyone else were playing her.

Nah, my "obsession" has always been Patricia Heaton. ;) I just think the Bobbi character has alot of potential.

I was wondering the same thing, or if she'll ever even leave the office.

Joey's previous agent, Estelle, was only seen outside of her office once and met everyone but Phoebe.

and isn't Phoebe the one who has to tell Joey that she died??
(I've never seen the episode.... I never watched Friends on NBC besides the series finale, I watched syndication occassionally, but now I stick to DVDs)

Well, presumably she met Estelle at some point, I just mean that they never met or interacted onscreen.

Also, when Phoebe found out Estelle died, I remember her asking everyone, "Isn't Joey's agent Estelle Leonard?"

Jennifer Coolidge is a brilliant actress. And if you want proof of this don't go rent the American Pie movies. Go rent Best in Show. Her character in that is sooo funny. And I love Bobbi. I think she has great potential and I think eventually she'll get out of the office.

But Jennifer Coolidge is great, I became a fan of hers when I first watched Legally Blonde :D
