'Arrested Development' Gears Up For Season Two!

The madcap Bluth family is back for the second season of FOX's critically acclaimed show "Arrested Development," which took home the top comedy prize at the 2004 EmmysŪ. Only ET is with stars JASON BATEMAN, JEFFREY TAMBOR, PORTIA de ROSSI and the rest of the talented crew for a hilarious photo shoot in which Portia reveals she always knew their show would reign in the praises.

"I read the script and knew it was brilliant," she says. "I thought, if this actually comes off the page as good as it reads -- or better -- we have a real shot at making something special."

But Jason wasn't so sure it would grab the attention it has. "I had a lot of doubts," he says. "About whether it would even see the light of day, because it was so different. But that's why I wanted to do it so badly."

The second season premieres Sunday, November 7, and the cast sounds like a broken record when they each proclaim how happy they are to be back on set. "We feel so blessed and fortunate that we get to make another season of this crazy show," Portia says. "I'm just so happy that I can hang out with my boys. I love the cast and the thought of not working with them is horrible."

Although the cast is more than open about their adoration for each other, they're a bit coyer about revealing what's in the works for season two. "You never know what the writers are going to do," says MICHAEL CERA, the actor who plays George-Michael Bluth. "They don't let too much out, but they're always dropping hints."

Jason also discloses what famous faces will be gracing their show in the upcoming season. "LIZA (MINNELLI)'s going to be back, HENRY (WINKLER) is going to be back and I'd love to get JAMES LIPTON back," he says. "Hopefully, we'll have my sister (JUSTINE BATEMAN) on the show this year. We've been trying to get that going for years and now we'll be able to make money doing it, so that'll be fun."

Emmy nominee Jeffrey adds that he was, too, only supposed to be a guest star when he was first cast. "I came on as a guest, I wasn't playing this full time," he says. "Then they asked me to do it and I couldn't be happier. It's all working out very, very well. We're the little engine that could."
