Oh for crying out loud. He needs to kiss your ass! That's it, I can't go in that thread because this alone has pissed me off. He makes me so angry that I start to shake. I left here one night after going back and forth with him (or maybe it was OU) with a headache. Freakin' jackass.

Don't go back in there, seriously. He's only going to do to you what he's done to many of us: Piss you off so bad you'll want to knock the living crap out of him. And I just saw what he said about John Taylor, not to mention casey's. You thought John was attractive you so "liked other girls"? So he wore makeup, big deal. Not like the guys from Duran Duran were the only ones. And who gives a rat's ass if you liked men with makeup! Hell, I thought Adam Ant was sexy as hell - he wore makeup. Gah, grow. up. now. Please.

Yes they do. They piss me off every single time, and you know what? They know they're pissing us off so don't let them win. Just stay away. It's not easy but you have to get to that point. Good grief, saying you like girls because you thought a man with makeup was attractive. A guy in JUNIOR HIGH would come back with that. Or a jackass. That's what I have to do. It'll only ruin my night if I go in there to comment on what he's said.

Yeah, that's why I have to stay away. It makes me very angry that they even start their b.s. in the first place, not to mention the fact that they're hell-bent on winning every time with their childish and crude remarks. I can't stand fights, I can't stand rude behavior. Especially when it doesn't need to happen. This place is supposed to be fun and that's what I plan on having here. Let them make fools of themselves. I understand what you're saying, Tara. :(

I was prescridbed Robitussin with Codeine and two days off from work. I can't remember what exactly was causing it to be worse than the average cold (although the previous year, I had acute sinusitis).
But man, that 'Tussin with Codeine was the best cought syrup ever. I slept almost non-stop for about two and a half days.

Overcast in the morning, clearing to sunny skies in the afternoon, to a high around 70 degrees, and it stays the same weather pattern all year long

Last November I came home from a vacation. My father was really sick when we got home and I got ill and took a rare day off from school, although I did stop by to drop off an essay for English.
One morning at 4:00, I woke up and looked in the mirror and my uvula and one of my tonsils were obscenely swollen. I went back to bed. I woke up a few hours later and let me tell you I could not swallow without cringing in pain. I couldn't eat or drink if I tried. I went to Urgent Care, was given some medication and it eventually went away. I think that one tonsil is still big but it isn't affecting me in any way.

Not every single day but we do have times where it will rain like that. Since it's so humid and with all of the moisture coming up from the Gulf, those cold fronts spark them and we'll get some nasty ones for a few days in a row.

The library is great. I probably won't be using it so much this semester. Whenever a class would be cancelled, I'd go over to the second floor and do classwork or read. I'd also bring my laptop on some days when I know I'm missing class and do some typing. Great place.

That's what I've been saying all along.
You have to remember that this place has always attracted younger people. There are members today who were 11 or 12 when they first started posting here. Sarah, Karly, Amy, KT, JT, Sean Snow, etc. I'm not saying they were immature, on the contrary. I've heard people say that the boards have gone downhill since the Summer of 2002. At that time I was 16. I think everyone who had been a regular at that time had come of age. Other people have said this and I have to agree, the boards haven't changed, it's the people. And with every "generation" that grows up there will be more younger newbies coming in. It's a cycle.
