Check out this story that's in "The Gazette" of today that happened in Calgary, Alberta.
A petite teen who hid her pregnancy from family members gave birth in her bedroom while her younger siblings were watching television, then cooked them dinner before leaving her newborn in a garbage bag on the street, police say.
The full-term baby boy, wrapped in bloody blankets, was found by a woman walking her dog. The girl's mother, who was working at the time of the baby's birth, was unaware of the situation when police came to the door to inquire if anyone was hurt. "We could have had a tragedy but we didn't" said Calgary police Det. Rene Lafreniere.
** In my opinion, any person who does this; should have no rights to their baby and/or child if that was the case. That's so sad, cruel and inhumane. **
