Double boo.

That's why I went the plastic frames route. I've had my current pair since '02 and in the whole time I've had them, my lens have NEVER fallen out, because there aren't any screws in the sides of my glasses. :D

Oh yes, Mary is fine. Her computer is giving her fits. I think it's got a bad-ass virus. She can't get it to work.

Gad, I'm doing what I did last year. Drifting from SO in August and September... Techincally I did it twice. 2001, I registered and left in September. (Okay, I only lasted 1 day with maybe 3 posts). Then I came back in February 2003, stayed until September 2003. Came back in February 2004, starting to drift at the same time this year. Maybe in February 2005 I'll start posting a lot again.

The new/old "Good Vibrations" lyrics are cool, but definitely hard to get used to.

Good Vibrations
(B. Wilson/V.D. Parks/T. Asher/M. Love)

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears
And she's already workin' on my brain
I, I only looked in her eyes
But I picked up something I just can't explain
And I'm pickin' up...

I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's givin' me the excitations
I'm pickin' up good vibrations
(Ooh bop bop good vibrations bop bop)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Excitations bop bop)
Good good good good vibrations
(Bop bop)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Excitations bop bop)
Good good good good vibrations
(Bop bop)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Excitations)

I, I bet I know what she's like
And I can feel how right she'd be for me
It's weird how she comes in so strong
And I wonder what she's pickin' up from me
And I'm pickin' up...

I'm pickin' up good vibrations
She's givin' me the excitations
I'm pickin' up good vibrations
(Ooh bop bop good vibrations bop bop)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Excitations bop bop)
Good good good good vibrations
(Bop bop)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Excitations bop bop)
Good good good good vibrations
(Bop bop)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Excitations)

(Ahhhhhhh)
(Ah my my what elation)
I don't know where but she sends me there
(Ah my my what a sensation)
(Ah my my what elations)
(Ah my my what)

Gotta keep those lovin' good vibrations
A happenin' with her
Gotta keep those lovin' good vibrations
A happenin' with her
Gotta keep those lovin' good vibrations
A happenin' with her
Gotta keep those lovin' good vibrations
A happenin' with her

(Ahhhhhhh)

Good good good good vibrations
(Bop bop)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Excitations bop bop)
Good good good good vibrations

Na na na na na
Na na na
Na na na na na
Na na na
Do do do do do
Do do do
Do do do do do
Do do do

Two letters to Carol down, one to go...

I'm STILL waiting to hear back from her...I sent her 3 letters total and the one that came back to me today was the 2nd one I'd sent out to her. The one in January was my 3rd. I sent out the first one on June 28, 2003, more than 14 months ago now. I guess I can give up hope of hearing back from her...I sent out that 1st letter more than 2 months before I moved last summer.

My dad came back from the convention he went to in California a few days ago...Apparently, while he was there, they had to do this thing, and you got prizes if your team won...Anyway, my dad's team won (they had to make a commercial, and their commercial was voted the best one) and one of their prizes is this REALLY sweet-ass digital camcorder that's worth $600. Man, I want it SOOOOOOOO badly.
