I wish the leaves would change color like that down here, least in my part of the state. The climate's too tropical, though. Still, the closer you get to Oklahoma the more you can see the leaves changing colors. It's so beautiful. :)

I haven't seen an episode since it went off the air but I did download a few episode clips from one of the JEH sites I frequent. Yeah, exactly. The damn show never had a chance after that. And it was really good! At the end, Meeno Peluce would remind us that if we wanted to learn more about the episode shown that we could head down to library.

It has different shades of purple woven into the overall purple tone of the shirt...I LOVE it. I used it as one of my sweaters for my senior pics. :D
Ooh that sounds pretty..:) for my senior pic, I wore a sleeveless white sweater over a blue button-down shirt with the collar up.
A friend of mine came over and did my hair and makeup. I wish I could figure out my parents scanner so I can post it. It was sooo 1980's.

The longest running castmember currently on GL (Jerry ver Dorn as Ross Marler) joined the show in 1979. Although Maureen Garrett (as Holly Lindsey) joined GL in 1976, she left for 7 years in 1981 & came back in '88. The longest running character in TV history is Nancy Hughes on As the World Turns, played by Helen Wagner since the very first episode in 1956! As a matter of fact, she spoke the very first line on the show. Charita Bauer of GL did hold that record at the time of her death in 1985.

Technically, if Mama were still on TV, she'd have Fraiser beaten by a mile. Mama got started way back in 1974. She debuted on March 16th of that year. :D

I'd love to eat at Donovan's Steak and Chop House. I've seen quite a few ads for that place.

I remember in May I went to Las Vegas with my parents. The casinos reeked of cigarettes.

I completed my second day of jury duty, still got two more days in hell though. Afterwards, I had to take my great-grandmother to her doctor appointment. It's a challenge just getting her out & moving, but she's so funny lol After that we stopped off at Best Buy & soon as we got in there, she was pointing to the Dallas DVD! Being the softie am towards her, I bought it for her. She's been in the other room watching it ever since we got home. She'll have it finished by this time tomorrow lol She's always had a strange attraction to Larry Hagman. But I thought of you Tara, when we got the Dallas DVDs today :)
