I Am sick and tired of being seen as a 'HD Boarder". I Am Chad Lawrence Doody, And i am an invidividual. I Said i was going to move on months ago when it ended, And i MEANT It. I'm Not running from anything, Because quite frankly...I Have no desire to be there anymore.

Those days were great when they lasted, But i'm not going to go back over there and parade around like i used to 'Yaaaaay HD Board is the best!" Because for one, I Rarely even watch Happy Days anymore, And two...I'm not going to pretend to be some Happy Days Obsessed Kid anymore...Because i'm not. Its more about it being our home for so long than it being about HD. Thats where we all met, thats where we had our little group of pals, thats where we did everything. We all are or at sometime where big HD fans, so in ways we DO belong there, whether or not we watch the show currently.

It IS the best, not because its about the TV show we all used to love, because its our HOME.

And I'm not telling you to do anything, I'm just kinda confused as to why all of a sudden you'd want to get away from the place so badly.

And by the way....There comes a time in every person's life when they have to leave "Home". My Time...Is Now.

Hard to describe. Cant really see why you'd suddenly take the "HD Boarder" as almost an insult.

Kinda like "Proud to be an American", I guess. Shouldnt you be proud to be an "HD Boarder"? We were probably the most independent board around when we first got it going. We were the first to form a almost cult like family, the mafia stuff and all. We used to have "Proud member of the Happy Days Mafia" in our sigs. I'm still proud to be an HDer, always will. Not because its a TV show, not because its Happy Days, but its because that was US. It isnt about the TV show or a Board about a TV show, it wouldnt matter where we did that at, Chit Chat, Britcoms, General Sitcoms Questions and Discussions...I'd feel the same way.

I just think our threads at HD feel better, not sure what it is about it. These are starting to feel better, I just think its depressing to see them all dead. Even if the HD thread is dead it feels like home, while this only does when it's active (like now.

I'm still going to miss the cool original stuff we did, like the Board Awards, and the Road Trips. Stuff like that. It was always interesting and fun, even if we did only do the annual stuff twice before the "demise" of the board.

Although quite obviously stuff like that was getting hard, take the Boardathon for instance.

Ya know, its probably a good idea to just keep the randoms over here, since its obvious we're like a puzzle, just doesnt work if we arent ALL in the same thread.

Yeah....I'm not saying i gave up on HD In general. I'll discuss HD Again if i get back into it. I Still wanna get the DVD Too (Once i get some money, That is. I Also want the 7th Heaven DVD)
