it's funny how times have changed, when I was 12, nobody watched Disney Channel. Yet now today's 12 year olds are all about it
Walt would be ashamed at how far his empire has sunk

I just watched an episode of this show over the weekend and thought it was bad. Seems like they think shows aimed at kids have to be stupid (like Drake & Josh on Nick) or over the top (Raven with her psychic powers or this show with a family coming back to the present from the future) There just needs to be more intelligent kids shows than this. Even Stevens was the last good Disney Channel show.

of course Even Stevens was the worst show on Disney. :::gasp::: people actually over the age of fifteen think Shia Lebeauf is a decent actor, and you know how it's a no-no that anyone actually being even old enough to drive shouldn't like any of the fluffy Disney stars

Do you guys know that Boy Meets World is not actually an original Disney Chanelle Show. It first aired on ABC in the 1990's. The Disney Chanelle hasn't had a single show worth watching since i'd say around 1995 or 1996 when they canceled "MMC". DC in the 80's and 90's was great- KIDS INCORPARATED, MMC, Emerald Cove, Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and so many other great shows that i can't even name them all. Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens and Thats So Raven all suck. at least in my humble opinon.
I agree that its been awhile since a show portrayed teenagers as even remotley intellegent. Hillary Duff and all her Disney co-horts all need to go back to being nobodies.

i think he would like some of what the channel has and had but i have a feeling he would of possibly kept those that he enjoyed or saw doing well on longer. but you cant say he would of done it differently because he might not of for the most part..
"Even Stevens" was one of the better ones in recent years IMO, I KNOW 'some' families watched it but like your saying it's all aimed at 12 year olds now...and those parents don't watch. But the shows that ARE good shouldnt be bashed just because their on disney channel now. and im NOT refering to "phil of the future" i
but, Disney really screwed themselves with the cast of ES, Shia's off doing movies with other companies, Christy's working on new projects not disney related... they learned their lessons with seeing shia do well and now christy doing well with broadway...
but while the 90's/80's were much better, MMC was very much like a series on disney today as with "flash forward" and "ready or not" If you look back you can now see the transformation, 1995 is when the creator of pre-teen disney came along.

Sometimes I watch "Sister Sister" reruns, or even "The Proud Family" (I like some of the voice over actors, what can I say), but other than that, I don't watch any Disney Channel shows.
I have seen previews for the show you are talking about. It is stupid show. It is this generation "My Mother the Car". Enough said.
Isn't it funny, that back when Disney Channel was good, it was pay cable channel. Now that it is a basic cable channel, it sucks.

Yes, I do watch Phil of the Future, and I really like it, and it is one of my favorite shows with That's So Raven.

it seems to me if a family cant watch a show together - on disney channel, it's not true to the original purpose.
i know some families watch this stuff together but not the majority. which i saw more with ES.. but.. as i was thinking "Tiger Cruise" WAS a good family tv-flick.
in SOME ways it kinda reminded me of the older disney tv-flicks.

I stopped watching Disney Channel back when Even Stevens stopped airing new episodes.
I think Ive watched Even Stevens on there maybe 2 or 3 times since.
At that was over a year and a half ago.
I just hope it finds its way to DVD.
I also liked Boy Meets World and Sister, Sister was good for the parents. (on the show, not in real life)

I believe they did, I remember seeing a lot of promos around the time Titanic was big where they were hyping "look, we have a show with Leonardo DiCaprio!!". I dunno why I remember since I barely watched DC

I have watched it on occasion. For me, the most interesting character is not Phil, but his younger sister. There is dominance personified. Not only the character she plays, but the actress herself. And I can only imagine it will increase, as she gets older.

I think the show can be fun to watch. It is funny in a stupid way. When this show first came out I watched it some but I didn't like it enough to continue watching.

I actually liked "Phil of the future" (back when Disney Channel Sweden used to show it), and I was in my 20s. It could a bit weird, but it was weird in a good way.
