I don't think I've ever heard it, but if you like it, it must be awful.

Just because it came out more than five years ago... that doesn't make it old. Try to broaden your musical horizons. It won't hurt, honest.

For nostalgia maybe and only if you actually gave a damn about her music and movies. But you cannot even begin to compare Jennifer Lopez with The Beatles or Elvis. They're in a league all their own.

In order for her to be like Sinatra and Elvis she has to a) have talent and b) have people like her.
And please stop capitalizing every freaking word.

She'll be dead in 50 years, hon. No one will remember her. Just because you like her doesn't make her any unique from other artists of her genre. She's not original and she doesn't have the potential to influence anyone.

someone on Amazon put it in the perfect context about Lumidee's song...
"Makes J. Lo sound like Aretha". Of course, I'm sure that point is moot to Singing Actress as he thinks J. Lo is a superior vocalist.

Stop Comparing The Beatles To J Lo. There's art and genius, and then there's J. Lo's records. How many songs does she actually write herself? I honestly don't know. But if she does write her songs, she's a ****ty lyricist. I don't know where you're getting your information but I've never and will never see anyone comparing any of J. Lo's albums to Sgt. Pepper. There's no innovation and revolution in her damn albums.
Will any of her songs be made into a broadway musical like Billy Joel's? You should really really consider paying more attention to actual artists that have lasting power, and quit being so narrow-minded and judgemental of music that's more than a day old.

damn, you're a hater!!! LOL.
SingingActress reminds me of a chick on an AOL message board a few years ago. The topic was "list your top 10 favorite female singers", and my list mostly consisted of females from the 70's and 80's and the only purely 90's female I had listed was Bjork (even tho I also had people like Cher, Madonna and Janet in there... female artists who defy a decade), and then she wrote this scathing reply telling me I live in a time warp and that I'm stupid and like played out music because I'd rank Stevie Nicks in a top 10 list, but not someone like Britney or Christina (and this was when BS and CA were just first albums out). I mean, the stupidity, arrogance and "new is so much better than old" attitude reminds me of that girl who thinks that Britney, Christina and Mandy should rank higher on an ALL TIME FAVORITE FEMALE list than Stevie Nicks or Tina Turner.
