She's almost done with it. She is handing it in a few weeks. That doesn't mean it will be out soon, they(capitol) have to do their final touches, remixing etc....as of now it has a December release date. They're having problems with a first single. It was orginally supposed to be "I'll Figure It Out" which is co-written by Linda Perry, but she keeps on handing in new songs that are more worthy of being released. She has been recording mainly in her home with her boyfriend producing most of it. Should be good. I can't wait.

Letter from Lisa

Hello:)

I hope you're having a nice summer so far. I have been working pretty much nonstop since touring (I didn't want anyone thinking I was slacking or off vacationing when I aint) I'd like to be, but I aint :)

We are as things stand, 3 quarters done with the new record. While recording I continue to write more here and there which delays things. I am estimating that I will be turning it in in August for mixing. It takes some time after that to get things set up for release so we are as of now realistically looking at the beginning of the year. (That is if all goes smoothly)

That doesn't mean a single won't come out or that I won't do any shows before that (I would love to) that is just typically how long it takes once the album is turned over to the record company. It will be a helluva lot better if I don't rush it in the end trust me on that.

I miss being on the road and seeing ya though. I do check the board now and again and try and keep up with you all:) I really do love hearing what you have to say about things.
