Britney Spears is coming out with a 'Best of' album this November. It'll have her hits and songs that didn't make the cut on her last 4.

When I posted the above post, I was halfway joking, but I must admit I actually like some of Britney Spears' singles and I would seriously consider getting this.....maybe.

I think their should be a rule that you have to release 5 albums before you're allowed to release a greatest hits album.

well, this is the perfect time for a Britney GH cd. Toxic was her biggest hit in about 4 years, and Everytime also performed better than anything off the previous album.
Why not strike a GH cd when Britney is still somewhat hot and people will buy it instead of releasing one down the road when she's become a nostalgic artist and the album likely won't chart?
She's had more hit singles than either 98 Degrees or Backstreet Boys and they have Greatest Hits albums.

Then we wouldn't get a hits collection from TLC, unless they actually go ahead with the bad idea of making a fifth studio album with a new member. They've had enough through the first four to release a hits album.

exactly, Backstreet Boys were able to fill a cd up with hits... and they only had 3 albums

another example is Janet's Design Of A Decade. Take away ONE 93 track, and the cd is technically songs off two albums, plus 2 new songs. Yet the album is chock full of hits and nobody complains that the album didn't cover more material

That's good for her. Even though it's only been 5 years or whatever, she's released a lot of songs, and if she wants to release it, then let her, there's no problem.

Wow! Can't wait to get her "Greatest Hits" CD by November. It has all of her songs like "Baby, One More Time", "Oops, I Did It Again", "Boys (Neptune's Remix)", "Lucky", "Me Against the Music" and others. I hope that I will get it. I have all the Britney CD's.:)

It'll definitely be bloody awful, simply because it's Britney Spears, but I'm sure it won't be nearly as disastrous as her cover of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." I downloaded it once out of morbid curiosity, and I couldn't even make it through one run-through before it went into the recycle bin.
