Today I went to a bluegrass festival and got a wonderful box of random old sheet music. I am quite overjoyed and very sleepy.

*gulp* Okies. This has taken forever to write. But it still will probably be the crappiest script you'll ever read. O_O Anyway, I'm sure even tho I went over it there are still errors. For some reason it kept spacing the words and stuff so I had to fix that. If parts are missing, that's why. I read it, just not all at once. I did it while I was fixing it. Ok. Even tho I don't think you will, enjoy:

*Camera fades into the breakfeast table for the Deen's house*

Darren: Well girls, this is one of our last weeks in this house.

Lynda: *Low voice* Dont remind me.

Darren: Oh, honey, after we move you'll like it. It's a really nice house. And a nice neighborhood too.

Lynda: Yeah, I guess so.

*Belle comes walking kind of fast down the stairs*

Melanie: 'Bout time you get here!

Belle: Sorry mom. My room was so cluttered. With all the packed bag's and stuff.

*Melanie gives Belle her food and Belle begins to eat*

Darren: I gotta get to work. Bye girls, Honey. *Kisses Melanie on the cheek before exiting*

Belle & Lynda: Bye Dad!

Belle: *Eats a couple bites of food quickly*

Melanie: You hardly ate any!

Belle: I know, Mom, but I'm gonna be late.

Melanie: *sigh* Yep.

Belle: Well, I'm off. Later, Mom!

Melanie: Have a good day.

*Melanie pulls a chair up and sits by Lynda as she lets out a sigh*

Melanie: Lynda, i know you're not too keen on the idea of moving, but it's for the best. We need a bigger house.

Lynda: I know. I just... I've lived here all my life.

Melanie: The house is great. And the school is very nice, too, from everything I'd heard.

*Lynda smiles* Lynda: I guess it's not so bad. I'm gonna try and enjoy my last few weeks here.

Melanie: You just do that. Only 2 weeks till the big day. *smiles*

Lynda: Well, I gotta get to school too! I'll see ya *quickly leaves*

Melanie: *quietly* It's for the best....
---

*Camera fades to one of Belle's classes*

Belle: *sigh*

Darlene: Belle! wake up!

Belle: Sorry.

Darlene: This really is getting old, you know.

Belle: Sorry. Daydreaming

Darlene: Of who? *sarcastic*

Belle: You know who. Josh!

Darlene: *Laugh* Oh yes. It's the age-old tale of a young girl in love with her teacher. hehe.

Belle: I swear i'm gonna marry him someday. Yeah. *Belle nods reassuringly*

Darlene: He's 28.. And you're moving soon. You might never see him again! You've gotta move on. It's just a crush, but it's getting to you.

Belle: *moan* I know. Probably the one thing I'll miss seeing all the time.

Darlene: Thanks alot, Belle.

Belle: *chuckle* You, too!

Darlene: *joking eyeroll*

*Belle starts to stare as Josh walks into start class room* *Darlene rolls her eyes and laughs but Belle doesn't notice*
---

*Scene fades to Lynda and her bestfriend Micki who are talking and walking home*

Lynda: *breaking silence* I'm sure gonna miss you, Micki, when I move.

Micki: Awww, Lynda, I'll come and visit you all the time.

Lynda: That's good. I mean, besides you I dont have too many close friends. Even around here. But It's just not gonna be the same in a new place and things.

Micki: I would sure hate movin'. I would miss my boyfriend.

Lynda: Hey, I just remembered, you've never introduced me to your boyfriend!

Micki: Oh, he's awesome, Lynda! We just started dating 2 weeks ago. *smiling*

Lynda: Cool. I don't even have a boyfriend to miss. *laughs*

Micki: Maybe you'll find someone at your new house, Lynda.

Lynda: I don't know. Right now I'm ok being single...

Micki: You know that's not true!

*Lynda shrugs* Lynda: Well....

Micki: You just gotta quit thinking men got cooties or something. Men aren't so bad once you get to know 'em.

Lynda: *laugh* I'm sure. But I don't have much confidence when it comes to asking men out, and every guy knows it.

Micki: Hmmm. Why not take this moving thing as a chance to find some male friends?

Lynda: I think I will.

Micki: By the way, I was thinking, we don't have much more time together before you move, so, maybe we could have a sleepover next week or something?

Lynda: Ok. I'll have to make sure my mom approves, but I think she'll let me.

Micki: Good. I'll go all out. Snacks and everything.

Lynda: Sounds like lots of fun. I'll be there! *Micki walks up her own stairs and Lynda heads for her house.*
---

***Note: Lynda and Micki are also neighbors.

*Lynda is shown walking into her house. Melanie greets her*

Melanie: Hey.

Lynda: Hi mom.

Melanie: How was your day?

Lynda: Good.

Lynda: Micki invited me over next week for a sleepover. It's ok, right?

Melanie: Sure.

Lynda: It's kinda like a 'goodbye' sleep-over.

Melanie: Well that's nice of her. You two have a good time. Micki's always been a good friend to you. You two won't lose contact when we move.

Lynda: Mmhm. I sure hope so.

*Belle then walks in the door with Darlene*

Darlene: Hi, Mrs. Deen.

Melanie: Hi there Darlene!

Darlene: Hey Lynda.

Lynda: *Lynda stares evily at Darlene before raising an eyebrow*

*Darlene ignores Lynda's stare and heads up to Belle's room with Belle*

Melanie: *laugh* Why do you act that way to Darlene? She's Belle's bestfriend!

Lynda: She's such a self-centered little no good....

Melanie: Ah! I get the point, but they've known eachother since they were young children and they've become close. I'm sure Belle must see something in her.

Lynda: I don't know what.

Melanie: What'd she ever do to you?

Lynda: You should see her in school, mom. She's always rude to other kids. She think's she above all them! She even treats me that way, too!

Just not around you. She's like a female Eddie Haskell.

Melanie: I must say Belle doesn't have the best taste in friends.

Lynda: *nods* Well, I've got homework to do. *heads upstairs to her room*

*Lynda is sitting at her desk, which has a window* *Lynda inhales the air from the open window and sighs*

I'm gonna miss this place.
---

*A busy week passes by quickly and Lynda is anxiously awaiting the sleepover that will take place the next night*

*Lynda is on the phone with Micki*

Lynda: Tommorow's gonna be a blast! You wait and see.

Micki: I sure hope so. I got everything ready!

Lynda: Ugh, sorry, Micki but my sis wants the phone. I'll see ya tommorow night! Bye.

*Lynda hangs up*

Belle: Thanks Lynda!

*A little later that night Lynda is back up in her room thinking over all the things that's happened in the past*

Lynda: It's gonna be like starting all over. *to herself* I know it's silly getting so worked up over moving, but it's so strange to see myself in a new house and having to make new friends... *She gets in her bed and lays down* *Lynda closes her eyes and reminicses*

Lynda: I can't sleep.... I'm going downstairs to get a drink or something.

*Lynda walks down the stairs to see Belle sitting at the table in the dark*

*whispering* Lynda: Belle?

Belle: Yeah?

Lynda: Shhh!

Belle: *quieter* Sorry. What?

Lynda: What are you doing here?

Belle: I can't sleep. You too, huh?

Lynda. Yeah. So much to think about.

Belle: I know.

Lynda: It isn't seeming to bother you much, tho...

Belle: I just don't show it like you do. There are alot of things I'll miss.

*Lynda is getting some water*

Lynda: Good to know I'm not the only one. I thought I was being dumb..

Belle: Nah. Well, anyway, I'm going to bed now. G'night, Lynda.

Lynda: Night. *Lynda takes a sip of water and sits down*
---

*The next day Lynda is shown getting some things ready. Lynda plans to go to Micki's at 7:00PM and stay the rest of the night*

*Belle walks into Lynda's room*

Belle: Hey Lynda.

Lynda: Hey Belle.

Belle: Can I barrow your hair spray?

Lynda: Sure. Why would you want my hairspray?

Belle: I don't have any... And, I got a date.

Lynda: You got a date?

Belle: Yeah, I date!

Lynda: Oh, yeah! All of 3 times. My mistake.

Belle: Better then you.. Never.

Lynda: You know I date, But it isn't my life.

Belle: You've become boyshy ever since your breakup with that guy you liked so much.

Lynda: *shrugs* er.... Belle, when the right guy comes along, I'll date him. But in the meanwhile I'm not dating any jerks just because I don't wan't to be alone, ok?

Belle: *laugh* ok...

Lynda: Here, now leave. I gotta get ready. *Hands Belle hairspray*

Belle: Thanks, Lynda. *Exits*

*About 20 minutes later Lynda is shown getting out of the car and walking up to Micki's door* *Lynda knocks*

Micki: Heeey girl!

Lynda: Hey Mick!

Micki: Hey Lynda. Come on in!

Lynda: Thanks.

Micki: Let's not waste any time.

*Lynda nods and heads up the stairs*

*Micki and Lynda go up to Micki's room*

Micki: Sooo *rubs hands together* What ya wanna do?

Lynda: I don't know.

Micki: I did invite some other people. You just came early. *laughs*

Lynda: Oh? Who'd you invite?

Micki: A few girls I know. You'll like 'em!

Lynda: You know how I feel about being around girls I don't know, Mick..

Micki: This is to help you get over your fear of social situations. Also, I'm here! Good ol' Mick!

*Lynda stares for about 5 seconds* Lynda: ... Yeah.

*Micki frowns* Micki: Just have fun! Also, let's get out the snacks before the rest of the girls get here.

Lynda: Sure thing.

*Micki's mom calls upstairs* Mrs. Donaldson: Hey Micki, a few of your guests are here!!

Micki: OK, MOM! I'll be right back, Lynda! *Micki runs down the stairs as Lynda nods, setting some chips, dips and other party foods on a table in Micki's room*

Lynda: Sure hope Micki's friends aren't too weird. *shrug* *to herself* I don't think I've ever met any of her friends...
---

Micki: Baaaack! And with friends! (Micki says giddily) FeFe, Kerri, meet Lynda!

Lynda: Uh. Hi, guys.

FeFe: Hey, Lynda! I'm FeFe.

Lynda: Nice to meet you.

FeFe: Mmhmm!

Kerri: Hi. I'm Kerri.

Lynda: Nice to meet you.

*Kerri stares for a moment, slowly nodding before sitting down on the couch* *Lynda coughs a little bit before joining Kerri FeFe on thecouch*

Micki: Sooo! What you girls wanna do?

FeFe: Let's... Watch a movie!

Lynda: *Almost silently sighs* Fine by me.

I know Micki will pick something horrible. I know it.

Micki: Ok! *pops some girly movie in quickly and jumps on the couch, anxiously staring at the TV before turning to Lynda and smiling with a "told ya it'd be fun!" look*
---

*Later, after the movie is over Micki turns the TV off*

Micki: Well, that was fun!

Kerri: Such... cheesey... crap. *shudders and rolls her eyes in disbelief that she sat through that*

*Micki frowns as Lynda and FeFe laugh quietly*

Micki: ANYWAYS, let's have a snack. I got some chips, soda, some dip.... *Micki continues to ramble on as her voice fades and the scene turns to FeFe, Kerri, and Lynda talking and totally ignoring Micki*

Kerri: So, Laura...

Lynda: It's Lynda. Not, uh, Laura... Yeah...

Kerri: mmhmm. Anyway, you're a friend of Micki?

Lynda: Yeah. Known her since I was 4.

Kerri: That's special. (in a "like I really care" tone.)

Lynda: Why do you need to know?

Kerri: Well, I've never really heard her talk about you. And I hardly ever see you at school. Thought maybe she just invited you because she felt sorry for you since you have no friends. She's like that, you know.

Lynda: *Lynda gives Kerri an "O....k" look* *shrugs*

*FeFe inturrupts*

FeFe: Lynda, Micki told me to tell you she needs you in the kitchen.

*Lynda heads downstairs kind of quickly and sighs loudly* Lynda: This is so wrong.

*down in the kitchen*

Micki: Awesome sleepover, huh? *excitedly*

Lynda: No, not really.

Micki: Aw. What's wrong, Lynda?

Lynda: Them!

Micki: FeFe and Kerri?

Lynda: Kerri. Besides, this was supposed to be just us, from what I understood. Why did you need them here?

Micki: Well, I thought it'd be funner if we had more people. You know, more company.

Lynda: *sigh* *putting finger on forhead and shaking head* Oh. Ok.

Micki: You need to get over your phobia of being in social situations. You're moving...

*Lynda inturrupts* Lynda: So?

Micki: I'm worried you'll never have any friends there.

Lynda: Thanks so much, Micki!

Micki: Lynda, please, I'm just worried you'll never come out of your shell and meet new people, that's all.

Lynda: Micki, I'll be fine.

Micki: Um....

Lynda: Yeah?

Micki: I just wanted to let you know, I didn't mean for this party to be so bad, but just try and make it fun.. Make the best of it.

Lynda: eh. It's ok. *shrugs* Let's just go upstairs and try and make the best of it, like ya said.

*Micki puts her arm around Lynda as they walk down the hall to the stairs* Micki: I'm gonna miss living next door to you.

Lynda: Me too.

Micki: And you know, you'll have to call me ATLEAST once a day or else. also, you have to come visit me... *Lynda inturrupts her*

Lynda: We've been over this before, Mick. *chuckle*

Micki: *sigh of relief* Oh yeah. Good.
---

*The scene fades to the Deen's sitting at the kitchen table eating the next morning*

Melanie: So, you have a good time with Micki at that sleepover, Lynda?

Lynda: Well, Micki invited some more people over. Two girls. FeFe and Kerri. It was uncomfortable because I didn't know them, and Kerri was really rude.

Melanie: Aw. I'm sorry, honey. I thought it was supposed to be just you and Micki?

Lynda: Me, too. But oh well.

Darren: *laughs*

Lynda: *staring* What's funny, Dad?

Darren: Oh, nothing. Just that Micki has been putting you in positions like that since you two met. When you were 4. She always means good, I'm sure, but it turns out bad.

Lynda: *chuckles* Yeah. Like that time when we were 8, she thought introducing me to that chubby boy who talked funny would be a good idea.

Melanie: *laughs* Oh boy do I remember that! He had the biggest crush on you.

*Belle laughs* Belle: You've never had luck with men. Not even then.

Melanie: Lynda, you've hardly eaten anything..

Lynda: I'm supposed to go with Micki and some others to a resturant in an hour. Don't want to be full by then.

Melanie: Oh, ok, hon.

Lynda: Well, I'm gonna go watch some TV and then I'm gonna get ready.

Melanie: Alrighty. *Melanie begins to clean the table off, since everyone is finished eating*

*Lynda is upstairs putting makeup on shortly after getting dressed*
---

Lynda: Hey, Mom!

Melanie: Hey, girl.

Lynda: I'm going now. Don't wanna be late, Micki said she'd be waiting for me at the resturant. She offered to drive me there, but I wanna walk. It's not too far away. One of my final walks in my neighborhood.

Melanie: Ok, honey. Have a good time.
---

*Lynda is shown walking into a small resturant where Micki, FeFe, and Micki's boyfriend, Doug and another guy who Lynda doesn't recognize are sitting*

Micki: Lynda!

Lynda: Hey, Micki, everyone.

Micki: Lynda, you know FeFe, this is my boyfriend Doug! Doug, this is my pal Lynda *Lynda and Doug shake hands*

Lynda: Nice to meet you.

*Doug nods*

Micki: And, of course, this is Bryan! Bryan, this is your Da-- I mean, Lynda!

*Lynda's eyes widen as she tries to remain calm* Lynda: Uhh. Hi, Bryan!

Bryan: Hi, Lynda. It's nice to meet you. I've heard so many good things about you from Micki. *Bryan smiles*

*Lynda looks flattered* Lynda: Aw. Thank you. So, you're a friend of Micki?

Bryan: Mmhmm.

*Micki inturrupts* Micki: ANYWAY, let's all order!

*They all grab a menue*

FeFe: How about we just get 2 pizzas?

Lynda: Fine by me. How about you guys?

*everyone nods*

Micki: Ok! Pizza it is.

(Lynda sits next to Bryan, while Doug and Micki sit together, and FeFe sits at the end)

Micki: So, Bryan, you and Lynda need to get to know eachother better!

*Lynda stares at Micki mouthing "What is wrong with you?!?". Micki ignores it*

Micki: Lynda is a great, caring person. I'm sure you'll like her even more once you get to know her! *says with a fake smile*

Bryan: I'm sure.

Lynda: Oh, thanks so much, Micki! (sarcastic)

*Women waiter walks up*

Waiter: You guy's ready to order?

Micki: We'll just have 2 large Pizzas.

Waiter: Sure thing! What would you guys like to drink?

Micki: I'll have a coke.

Lynda: Mountain Dew for me.

Doug: Me, too.

Bryan: I'll have a Dr. Pepper.

FeFe: Coke.

Waiter: Ok. It won't be too long. *she walks away*

Micki: Well, I've got to go to the ladies room.

Lynda: Um. Me too.

Micki: We don't be long.

*Micki slowly walks to the ladies room*

*After they are out of the rest of the guys sight Lynda takes a hold of Micki's arm and quickly pulls her into the ladies room which is empty*

Lynda: You didn't tell me about Bryan!! What is this?

Micki: He's really nice!

Lynda: I'm sure he is. But I don't believe I asked you to play matchmaker.

Micki: You'll never see him again if you don't want to...

Lynda: Good.

Micki: *grins* But he really likes you.

Lynda: Bryan seems really sweet, but I don't need a boyfriend right now. I'll be far away from here in less than a week.

Micki: *cough*afraidofmen*cough*

Lynda: Shut up.

*Micki sticks her tongue out* Micki: Wuteva!

Lynda: *chuckle* Oh, grow up!

*Lynda starts to walk out of the restroom *

Micki: Where you going?

Lynda: I DIDN'T HAVE to go to the bathroom.

Micki: Oh....

*Lynda exits rather madly and heads back to her chair*

Bryan: That was quick.

Lynda: ... Yeah.

Bryan: So, Lynda, Micki tells me you'll be moving away soon?

Lynda: Less than a week. I'm just lucky I've got all my stuff packed and I'm ready to go, so I still have some free time to spend with friends before I leave.

Bryan: Oh. It's to bad you're moving away, Lynda. Must be hard moving away from your home.

Lynda: If I had if my way, I wouldn't be moving. But my parents both think it's for the best, so...

*Micki comes back from the restroom*

Micki: I'm baaack!

Doug: Well, our food should be ready soon.

FeFe: I'm starving.

*about 5 minutes later the pizza and drinks arrive*

FeFe: Alright! Looks good. *FeFe grabs peice*

*You can hear in the background, Micki, FeFe, and Doug blabbering on*
---

(Back to the scene in the resturant)

Micki: Lynda, you're being quiet tonight! Something wrong?

Lynda: Oh! No, nothing's wrong. Sorry.

*Micki just nods and keeps eating her pizza*

Bryan: Lynda?

Lynda: Yeah?

Bryan: Well, I was wondering... Do you, uh, want to go for a walk? It's really nice outside.

*Micki gets a big grin on her face while she unnoticably tries to signal Lynda to say yes*

Lynda: Oh, um, sure!

*Bryan gets up as Lynda uncomfortably follows Bryan out of the resturant*

*Outside the resturant walking*

Bryan: You don't want to be here, do you?

Lynda: Huh?

Bryan: I didn't mean to ruin this for you, Micki just invited me and I would have felt rude saying no, since she doesn't even know me well yet she's been so nice to me. She really wanted me to come... For some reason.

Lynda: You didn't ruin this, I just didn't plan on having a ''date''. Micki, uh, forgot to tell me. *smiles sarcasticly*

Bryan: Micki didn't tell me I was officially your ''date'' until we were in the car. *laugh*

Lynda: *laugh* That Micki...

Bryan: Yeah.

Lynda: This isn't the only reason you brought me out of there, is it?

Bryan: Well... No.

Lynda: Well?

Bryan: Um. uh. Lynda, I just wanted to tell you, I'm glad I got to meet you tonight.

Lynda: Me, too.

*they continue to walk*

Bryan: I hope we see eachother again. *Bryan smiles nervously*

Lynda: Yeah. Me, too.

*Bryan nods and smiles*
---

*scene fades back to the resturant where Micki and the rest of the guys are all chatting and finishing their pizza*

Micki: Everyone done?

*Everyone says yes or nods*

*a little later the Women Waiter comes back*

Women Waiter: All done?

Micki: Yup.

*Women waiter proceeds to take away the dishes and walks away with them*

FeFe: Well, Lynda and Bryan are still gone so looks like we gotta go catch up with them.

Micki: You guys go on, I'm gonna go pay for this. I won't be to long.

Doug: Ok, baby. I'll see you then.

*About 5 minutes later the guys (including Micki who caught up with them) find Bryan and Lynda*

Micki: Hey Lynda, Bryan!

*Lynda turns around and smiles waving to them*

Micki: (almost silently) She doesn't look upset! YAY!

*FeFe laughs as she stares at Mickie with a funny grin*

Bryan: Hey guys.

Micki: Well, we just finished eating and decided we'd go find you two!

Lynda: Oh. Well, *putting her coat on that she took off while she was walking* I'm ready to head back home if that's the plan.

Micki: Yup. k, well, we gotta get back to where we parked, first.

*the scene fades to the backseet of the car, where Lynda, Bryan, and FeFe sit. They're pretty squished up*

Lynda: Uh, FeFe, please sit up a bit.

FeFe: Whaa?

Lynda: Your back. It's... on my hand. It's very painful. Please move it.

FeFe: Oh, sorry, Lynda. *moves a lil bit with a chuckle*

*Bryan laughs before Lynda moves her hand quickly back right towards Bryan's face and hits him hard*

Lynda: Oh my God!

Bryan: OW! My... face. *his face is in his hand*

Lynda: Are you alright?!?

Bryan: I... Don't know. *Bryan removes his hand from his face and blood drips down from under his nose*

*Lynda gasps a little with a guilty look on her face* Lynda: I'm so sorry!

Bryan: Um. Anyone got a tissue? *blood continues to drip down his face as he keeps his hand under it*

*Lynda searches her pockets and finally finds a tissue and quickly hands it to Bryan*

Bryan: *in muffled voice* Thank you.

*Lynda bites her lip* Lynda: Is everything ok now, Bryan?

Bryan: I don't think you broke anything. *Bryan cracks a smile*

*FeFe is just staring through the whole thing*

Micki: Everything ok back there?

*Bryan nods even tho Micki can't see him*

Lynda: I... think so.

Micki: Okie dokie. Good.
---

*the scene then fades to Lynda taking some things out of her locker and is about to head back home*

*Lynda shuts the locker and finds Bryan standing on the other side*

Bryan: Hey.

Lynda: Hey Bryan!

Bryan: How are you?

Lynda: I'm fine. No perminant damage done to your nose, right?

Bryan: *laughs* Nah.

Lynda: Good. *begins to walk as Bryan follows*

Bryan: Uh. Can I walk you home?

Lynda: Sure.

And so, he walked me home. Once I got home I went straight up to my room and called Micki.
---

*dials Micki's number*

Lynda: Hey. Micki?

Micki: Yup.

Lynda: How's it going?

Micki: I'm fine!

*a moment goes by without anyone saying anything*

Micki: So, how do you like Bryan? (Micki says giddily) I heard he walked you home from school today!

Lynda: News travels fast. *Lynda laughs* I like him alot. He's a very sweet person.

Micki: I just knew you'd like him! Did he tell you he's had a crush on you since he was 11?!?

Lynda: Whaa?

Micki: Oh, uh, nothing important.

Lynda: Micki! I knew he liked me, but I didn't think he had a crush on me. I guess..

Micki: He walked you home! I thought he told you..

Lynda: Micki, we're just friends. Sure, he's been friendly, but he seems like a shy person most of the time. Take is easy!

Micki: *chuckle* Fine.
---

Time seemed to have flyed by so fast with my final days in my old house. Me and Micki spent extra time with eachother. Saying goodbye was sad, because I knew it'd probably be a little while 'til I saw her again. We're like sisters. I hope nothing changes. Still, I decided I'd make the best of it and cheer myself up.
---

*The scene then fades to the Deen's first walking into their new house days later*

Melanie: Ooooo. *looking around*

Darren: This is perfect.

*Lynda and Belle begin to look around*

Belle: Let's go see our rooms, Lynda!

Lynda: Ok.

*Lynda and Belle head upstairs*

Lynda: My room is pretty big. It looks better than we first saw it, because all my furniture is in here. *Lynda sits on her bed and looks around*

*Belle nods*

Belle: I love my new room. It's very cozy.

Lynda: mmhmm. I'm kinda gonna miss my old room, tho.

Belle: Not me! This house is pretty awesome, if you ask me. *Belle walks off downstairs as Lynda just sits on her bed and sighs*

Lynda: This isn't home, tho.... (she says almost silently as if Belle was still there)
---

*The scene then fades to Micki's house 4 hours later where she is up in her room thinking*

Micki: *to herself* Lynda is probably just settling down into her house. Sure gonna miss seeing that girl everyday....

*Micki leans under her bed and grabs an old dusty scrapbook containing pictures of them growing up*

(Micki looks at a photo of them sitting together at Lynda's old house making mud castles... Yes, mud castles. both the girls are covered in mud and have huge smiles on their faces)

*Micki chuckles* Micki: Good times.
---

*The scene turns to the Deen's all sitting watching TV, enjoying their new house*

Melanie: I think we made a good choice, guys. This house is perfect for us, and so much more space!

Darren: Your mom is right, this house is really nice.

*Belle nods* Belle: Yup. I love my room. It's so big!

*Lynda just nods unenthusiasticly*
---

*The scene then turns to Lynda at her new school awkwardly sitting in the cafeteria ready to sit down and eat*

*Lynda looks around and sits down alone* Lynda: *quiet* All these people look so... unfriendly.

(Right as Lynda gets that out a girl runs up and sits down next to her)

Girl: Heeeyyy! Mind if I join ya? *Lynda starts to answer but she inturrupts* Oh, wait! you're the new girl, huh?

Lynda: Mmhmm. My first day. *nods slowly*

Girl: Well, welcome! What's your name again? You'll love it here!

Lynda: My name's Lynda. Lynda Deen. Yours?

Girl: Milly! Nice to meet you. *Milly grabs for Lynda's hand to shake it and knocks Lynda's spoon out of her hand*

Milly: Oh, sorry! I'll go get you a new one.

Lynda: It's alright. Really. I'll go get one.

Milly: Oh, ok! I'll be here.

*Lynda is already up and nods before going to get a new spoon*

*Lynda comes back and her and Milly... Well, Milly begins to talk*

Milly: So, you just move here?

Lynda: Yeah.

Milly: Oh. Coolies!

Lynda: Wish I thought so..

Milly: Aw! Well, don't worry. You'll make new friends and you'll love this place!

*A girl walks up*

Milly: Oh! Lynda, this is friend of mine -- Celine Kirk! Sit down, Celine!

Lynda: Hi. I'm Lynda.

Celine: Nice to meet you. You're new, huh?

Lynda: Yep.

Celine: Well, then we gotta make you feel at home!

*Lynda smiles*

Lynda: Thanks!
---

Well, the day went by pretty fast. And not half as bad as I thought it'd be. Met some people. That's good.

---

*scene fades to Lynda is upstairs picking up the phone*

Lynda: Hello?

Micki: LYNDA!

Lynda: Hey Micki!

Micki: What was your first day of school like? Meet any new people?

Lynda: A couple girls talked to me. Nothing too big. But atleast I know someone there. Not too bad.

Micki: Is it a nice school?

Lynda: Mmhmm.

Micki: Awesome.

Lynda: Hard to get used to, tho. I may not have had alot of friends back home, but, still...

Micki: Hey, I talked to Bryan today. He wanted me to tell you he said hi, and to give you his number!

Lynda: Ohh. Cool. Tell him I said Hi, also.

*scene stays at Lynda and Micki talking on the phone, but you can't undestand what they're saying*

---

Me and Bryan hung out alot with what little time we had before I moved, we became pretty good friends. I always enjoyed his company. He's alot like me. But still, I was sort of confused as to how he felt about me. Even after Micki told me how he had a crush on me, afterall, this IS Micki, she has a habit of blowing things out of proportion. Still, sometimes he acted like he wanted to be more than my friend, but other times he was like a pal to me. But, with Men, who knows? *laughs*
---

*You can hear Micki and Lynda again*

Micki: Well, Lynda, I gotta go. Good talking to you. I miss you!

Lynda: Ditto. See ya, Mick. *They both hang up as Lynda gets up off of her chair and sits on her bed and the scene turns to the Deen's eating*
---

Melanie: Lynda, Belle, how was school? You like it there?

Belle: It was awesome, Mom!

Lynda: Pretty cool.

Darren: Good!

Melanie: That's good. I heard it's very nice.
---

*The scene fades to Lynda at school getting ready to come home as a man walks up*

Guy: Hey.

Lynda: Hello.

Guy: May I ask how you are?

Lynda: I'm fine thanks. *smiles*

Guy: Good. By the way, I'm Joey. Wanted to say Welcome, and I'm sure you'll love it here, and all the people, too. *smiles suavely*

Lynda: Nice to meet you, Joey. I'm Lynda. *smiles warmly*

Joey: Hey, maybe I could walk you home tommorow? I got to get home soon, today.

Lynda: Oh, well......

Joey: *quickly looks at watch before Lynda could finish* Well, I gotta go, now. *walking off quickly before turning around* I'll see you tommorow!*waves*

*Lynda waves goodbye awkwardly before turning around and nearly bumping into Milly*

Milly: LYNDA!

Lynda: Whaa??

Milly: Joey Danielles just asked to walk you home!!

Lynda: *Lynda stares* Yeah...

Milly: He's only the hottest and most popular boy in school!

Lynda: Ohhhh.

Milly: You ARE gonna let him walk you home tommorow, aren't you?

Lynda: ... Well... I'm not sure.

Milly: You can't say no! He sounded.. kinda flirtacious! He likes you, I'll bet!

Lynda: Uh.

Milly: *raises eyebrow and stares at Lynda like she's insane* Do you have a boyfriend or something?

Lynda: Well... sorta. Not really.

Milly: Huh?

Lynda: A guy named Bryan, back where I used to live.

Milly: Ohhhhh. I think I get your drift.

Lynda: ... Yeah. It's not official or anything, but. oh, you know. Just incase.

Milly: Joey walking you home won't hurt any!

Lynda: Maybe you're right. He probably just wants to make me feel at home, anyway.

Milly: Of course I am! Besides, if any of the girls find out he asked you they'll turn green!

*Lynda chuckles*
---

*Lynda is shown in the kitchen drying and putting dishes away with her mom*

Lynda: So, Mom when can I go visit Micki?

Melanie: Well, I'd have to ask your father.

Lynda: *lightly groans* I need a car. Of my own.

Melanie: You'd have a car if you wouldn't have bought that clunker that didn't last to long, we told you this would happen.

Lynda: I was young and niave! Put it in the past already, Mom!

Melanie: That was only 1 year ago.

Lynda: I was 16. I was in a hurry since I just got my license.

Melanie: *laughs* Well, yeah...

Lynda: My birthday is coming up!

Melanie: Well, Lynda, I don't know. You need a good car. Cars aren't cheap. Besides, with us just moving and all...

Lynda: I could get a used one! I've already got some money saved up.

Melanie: Well, you are 17 now. You'll be needing one. But, wait, this started out as you asking me when you could see Micki...

Lynda: *chuckle* Yeah.
---

*Later that night Lynda is shown walking into the living room and going up to Melanie*

Lynda: Well???

Melanie: What, dear?

Lynda: You know... Micki.

Melanie: Oh, well I asked your dad. He offered to drive you up to stay for a while, right away when I asked him. He knows how much you miss her, sweetie. You and Micki need to make arrangments.

Lynda: Awesome! I gotta thank Dad. Thanks, too, mom! I'll call Micki in the morning.

*Melanie smiles at Lynda as Lynda heads upstairs to get ready for bed*
---

*scene cuts to Lynda combing her hair and such in the mirror*

Well, today is the day Joey is supposed to walk me home. Not a big deal, when you think about it. But it seems I couldn't get it out of my head. I wanted him to, yet I didn't.

---

*scene fades to Lynda walking down the hall in school when a very pretty girl walks up with an angry look on her face, not looking where she's going, runs right into Lynda and knocks several things out of her hands*

Girl: You're just the girl I wanted to see!

Lynda: Uhhhh?

Girl: Joey Danielles asked to see you today, didn't he?

Lynda: Um. Yeah. He's gonna walk me home.

Girl: Well don't go!

Lynda: Why? What's wrong? Plus, how did you know?

Girl: Milly Fredricks told me. And, Joey is supposed to be my boyfriend. *girl walks off madly before she turns around* DON'T!

*Lynda nods awkwardly before sighing and walking away*

And, I thought I was overreacting.
---

(Later that day)

*Lynda quietly tries to get out of school without Joey noticing her*

I can always make an excuse later. Like, my Mom was sick and needed me to come home quick, or SOMETHING.

*walks quickly towards door*

Joey: HEY!

Crap.

Lynda: Oh. Uh, Hi, Joey!

Joey: Hey, didn't forget about what I said, did you?

*Lynda nods with a fake smile, then the smile dissepears*

Joey: Um, Lynda, is something wrong?

Lynda: Uh. Yeah. Your girlfriend told me she didn't want me to let you do this. I'm not sure what's going on, exactly. (nervous)

That's it, tell it like it is!

Lynda: I don't wanna cause any trouble. She seemed pretty upset....

Joey: Well, uh. I guess I better talk to her. *sighs madly*

Joey: *smiles* I'll see you later, Lynda. *Joey walks out quickly*

Lynda: ... Bye.
---

*Lynda is up in her room talking to Micki*

Lynda: *over the phone* Yep. Uh huh. My Mom and Dad told me I could come visit you sometime, but I had to make arrangements with you.

Micki: Great! I'll have to ask my parents when you can come over.

Lynda: I can't wait.
---

*scene turns to Lynda and Micki on the phone again later that day*

Micki: Guess what, Lynda!

Lynda: What?!

Micki: My mom said you could come over friday for the weekend!

Lynda: YES! That's awesome, Mick!

Micki: Mmhmm! I can't wait to see you again! I wonder if you've changed any!

Lynda: *chuckle* Oh, Micki, it hasn't been that long..

Micki: Oh yeah.

Lynda: *laugh* We'll have an awesome time.

---

*scene fades to Lynda sitting on the couch talking to Melanie*

Lynda: Micki said I can come visit her friday!

Melanie: Well, that's good.

Lynda: Yup. For the weekend. I'm excited!

Melanie: I'm happy for you, sweetie. You and Micki have a good time!

Lynda: I will. *smiles excitedly*

---

(one week later: Lynda is arriving at Micki's house)

Micki: YAY. *Micki runs up to Lynda giving her a big hug*

Lynda: It's my old house! *looks across the yard* I miss that house. *sigh*

Micki: *puts arm around Lynda* Hey, let's get inside. We gotta have a good time!

Lynda: Ok. *nods*

---

*Lynda and Micki are up in Micki's room*

Micki: So, tell me about your new neighborhood, school, house 'n' stuff.

Lynda: It's pretty cool. I've only met a few people. But I like the new school.

Micki: Oh. Good!

*Lynda nods*

Micki: *smiles slyly* You plan on seeing Bryan sometime while you're here, Lyyyynndaa?

Lynda: *laughs* I guess so!

Micki: Hmm. Maybe me, Doug, you and Bryan could all go out. You know, ALL out, to dance, eat, just have a great time. But first, a picnic! It's really nice outside, and we could go to the park.

Lynda: Brilliant, Mick!

Micki: It'd be great. Just all of us friends having fun.

Lynda: *smiles* Well?

Micki: Let's call the guys!

---

*about 10 minutes later*

Micki: All done! I called both the guys. We're gonna go pick 'em up.

Lynda: Awesome.

Micki: *smiles slyly again* Bryan doesn't know you're here. You're the suprise.

Lynda: *laughs* Oh, Micki....

Micki: Well, let's get ready! *Lynda nods and they both get ready*

---
(driving)

Lynda: Do I look ok?

Micki: You look great! trust me.

Lynda: Thanks.

Micki: One down.

*Micki honks and Doug runs out and jumps in the car*

Lynda: Hey Doug!

Doug: Hey.

*they continue to drive to Bryan's house*

Micki: One to go!

*Lynda laughs*

Micki: We're there!

*Lynda nods and gets out*

Lynda: Well... (nervously)

*Lynda rings doorbell and Bryan gets it*

*Bryan opens door to find Lynda there*

Bryan: *Bryan gets huge smile on his face* Lynda!

Lynda: Hey Bryan! *she hugs him*

Bryan: What are you doing here?

Lynda: I'm here visiting Micki!

*Micki honks*

Lynda: Let's go, Bryan.

*Bryan nods and they both walk to the car and sit next to eachother*

Micki: Heya Bryan!

Bryan: Hey Micki.

Micki: We're all gonna have fun today!

Doug: What exactly are we doing, Micki?

Micki: I thought maybe we could... Have a picnic! And after that go dancing or something. I love picnics.

Lynda: Me too. This'll be fun.

Micki: Mmhmm! We can get the food and stuff from my house.

*Micki pulls into her driveway and gets out*

Micki: Alrighty! Guys, you can go in and watch TV or something while me and Lynda get some goodies to take with us on out picnic!

Lynda: Ok, Micki.

*They all go into the house. Lynda and Micki walk into the kitchen, while the guys watch TV and stuff*

Micki: Let's make some sandwiches..

Lynda: Alrighty.

*Micki goes into fridge and gets out some coldcuts, tomatoes, mayo and such*

Micki: *putting things on the table and getting out bread* This is gonna be so much fun. Plus, we got my house to outselves since my parents are gone for the weekend!!

Lynda: I wondered where they were... I didn't know that.

Micki: Now ya do!

Lynda: Yeah.. *stares for a moment then laughs* *Lynda begins to make sandwiches*

Micki: I'm gonna make some lemonaid. *grabs large pitcher*

Lynda: Awesome.
---

*scene fades to them all getting into Micki's car with a basket*

Micki: Perfect!

Lynda: Let's go!

Doug: I'm starving.

Micki: Sure thang, guys!
---

*scene turns to them stopping at a nice park*

Micki: Here we go!

Lynda: Looks like an awesome place for a picnic, Mick.

Micki: Let's waste no time! *grabs blanket from out of the trunk and Bryan grabs the basket*

*They walk into the park and Micki sets a blanket down in a nice shaded area next to a big tree*

Micki: Tah dah!

Lynda: *sits down on blanket* It's so nice here today. *smiles and looks around*

Doug: Yeahokwhatever. Let's dig in!

Micki: *rolls eyes and sets some sandwiches and food down on the blanket*

Bryan: Looks good, guys. *grabs sandwich and takes a big bite out of it* *with mouth full* Tasty.

*a little later*

Micki: *getting up* Lynda, Bryan, me and Doug are going for a walk. We wont be too long.

*Bryan nods*

*Micki and Doug leave*

Bryan: Hey Lynda?

Lynda: Mmhmm?

Bryan: It's really nice to see you again.

Lynda: *smiles* Yeah.

Bryan: Maybe sometime I could come visit you....

Lynda: That'd be cool, Bryan.

*Bryan nods*
---

*scene turns to them all returning to Micki's house*

Micki: Well, that was fun! huh, guys?

Lynda: Yep!

Bryan: I had a good time.

Micki: We can still go out dancing later.

Doug: Yeah. Later, but for now, I've gotta get going. 7:30 o' clock, right?

Micki: Yup!

Doug: I'll see you later. *Doug kisses Micki and she then waves goodbye*

(Lynda and Bryan are still on the couch)

Micki: I'll be right back, guys. *Micki goes to the kitchen*

*Bryan gets up* Bryan: Well, Lynda, I guess I'll see you later.

Lynda: *nods*

*Bryan starts to head for the door before Lynda stops him*

Lynda: Uh. Bye. *smiles*

Bryan: Bye. *Bryan turns around and waves her goodbye*

Lynda: *closes door*

*Micki comes back with a glass of soda as Lynda quickly turns around nearly knocking the glass out of Micki's hand*

Micki: Watch out, woman!

Lynda: Sorry, Mick.

*Micki sits down on the couch and lets out a sigh*

Micki: Well, that was fun, huh?

Lynda: *joining her on the couch* Yup.

Micki: *taking a drink of her soda* The park was beautiful. It was great just haning out with you. Like old times!

Lynda: *nods*

Micki: Do you want to go dancing or are you only humoring me? Because, ya know, I don't wanna make you do something you don't want to. You never really did love going out dancing, ya know..

Lynda: No way! It'll be fun.

Micki: Good. Because I'm looking foward to it.

---

*scene turns to Lynda in the bathroom getting ready, and Micki in the kitchen sitting at the table*

Micki: *fixing hair in the other room* The guys will be here soon, Lynda!

Lynda: Almost... ready!

Micki: I'll be waiting. *looks at watch* Don't take forever! The guy's shouldn't be too long.

Lynda: There! I'm ready. *walks out to the kitchen* How do I look, Mick?

Micki: Wond-a-ful! *laughs* Very pretty, Lynda. And with as much time as you spent in the bathroom, you SHOULD be pretty.

Lynda: *chuckle* Well, this should be fun. *sitting down next to Micki*

Micki: Yup.

*doorbell rings and Micki gets up*

Micki: The guys!

*Lynda smiles*

*Micki walks towards the door*

Micki: *opening door* Hey Guys!

Doug: Hey Mick! *kisses Micki on the cheek*

*Lynda walks up and Bryan takes her hand and they go*

Micki: ... And we're off!

*they all head out to the Doug's car. Doug is driving, Micki is sitting up front with him*

Micki: You guys ready to have an awesome time?

Everyone: Yes!

Micki: Then let's get goin'!
---

The ride there was pretty smooth. Everyone is so comfortable together. We all get along. I could tell we were gonna have an awesome time tonight.
---

(About an hour after they got there)

*Scene turns to Bryan and Lynda who are just walking off the dancefloor are heading over to sit with Micki and Doug*

Bryan: Having a good time, Lynda?

Lynda: Sure am!

Micki: I had to take a break! Got tired out.

*Lynda laughs*

Micki: Good idea tho, huh?

Bryan: Mmhmm.

Lynda: I've been having a great time.

---

The whole night flew by. It was great. Even the dancing was fun. Everyone had a great time.

(A little later the guys are shown walking out the door and heading towards the car)

Lynda: A little chilly out here.

Micki: I know! Let's get into the car *shivers*

*They all get into the car*

---
Micki: *driving* Ya know, guys, we forgot to eat.

Doug: No one was really hungry, Mick.

Lynda: Yeah.

Micki: Well I'm STARVING.

Bryan: Why didn't you get anything to eat while we were there?

Micki: Oh, I didn't think about it. Hey, ya know, we could stop there. *points to a small fastfood place*

Lynda: Uh, sure thing, Micki. I'm not hungry, tho.

*Micki parks and begins to get out. Everyone else does*

Micki: No, don't worry, guys. Just stay here. Me and Doug will go in. You guys want anything?

Lynda: I'll just have a chocolate milkshake, alright?

Bryan: Yeah, me too.

Micki: Ok, kids, I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere. *winks at Lynda and heads in with Doug*

*Lynda laughs* Lynda: Crazy Micki!

Bryan: She was acting kinda weird.

Lynda: *laugh* uh. As usual!

Lynda: *breaking silence* Um, have a good time, Bryan?

Bryan: Yep.

(silence)

Bryan: *quietly clears throat while moving a little closer to Lynda* *Bryan leans in to kiss her when you hear Micki open the door quickly. Bryan jumps back to where he was before as Lynda and Bryan smile embarassedly*

Micki: We're back! Ohh CRAP. *turns around with food in her hand*

Lynda: ...uh...

*you hear Doug laugh*

*Micki opens the cardoor again with a guilty look on her face*

Micki: *low voice* I'm sorry. *bites lip and heads to the driver seat*
---
(scene - them riding home)

... That whole scene was horrible. It was beyond embarassing. For me, that's like a nightmare. You know, I love Micki, and she's like a sister to me, but she's ALREADY nosy. Just thinking of what it'd be like when I got home wasn't a pleasent thought. Me and Bryan didn't say a word to eachother for the rest of the ride home. To top if off, I was also confused about the whole kiss. I wasn't going to pull away, that's for sure, and I know me and Bryan came to Here, well, as eachothers dates, but as far as I knew we are both just friends. It's weird being put in a position where you don't know where you stand in a relationship with a guy. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

---

*scene fades to Lynda and Micki walking into Micki's house*

Micki: Uh. *small chuckle* Sorry about what happened earlier, Lynda.

Lynda: *shrugs* Erm. It's ok.

Micki: I left you two alone for a reason, ya know. But I didn't mean to barge in on ya guys..

Lynda: *stares* Micki! You just can't leave well enough alone.

Micki: So, you two an item? *grins and makes eyebrow motions*

Lynda: *sigh* I.. don't know. Besides, Mick, not to be rude, but, you know, it's not really any of your business in the first place..

Micki: *smile turns to frown and she gasps quietly and fakely* Lyyyynda. It is!

Lynda: *laughs and shakes her head* No it isn't!

Micki: *sticks tongue out* I'll make it my business!.... Kidding! *sits down on couch*

Lynda: *Lynda shakes her head and laughs*
---

*Scene fades to Lynda in the guest bedroom the next morning just waking up to the alarm clock*

*Micki opens door quickly*

Micki: Good morning!!

Lynda: Ugh.

Micki: It's 12:30! Time to rise and shine!

Lynda: Yeah yeah yeah. I'm up!
---

*scene fades to Lynda walking down the street to Bryan's house*

Well, since I was going home today, I thought I'd say goodbye to Bryan.. Even tho I knew it'd be awkward. But I felt the need to...

*Lynda walks up Bryan's steps and knocks*

*Bryan opens door*

Lynda: Hi.

Bryan: Uh. Hey.

Lynda: Well, uh, I'm going home today. Just wanted to say goodbye.

Bryan: It was nice seeing you again.

Lynda: Yeah.

Bryan: Um. About what happened lasnight..

Lynda: Yeah?

Bryan: I'm sorr--

Lynda: Don't worry about it.

Bryan: *sigh of relief*

*uncomfortable silence*

Lynda: But, you know, I wouldn't have pulled away or anything..

Bryan: *half smiles*
---

And that was it. We said goodbye, and I was off to head back home.

*scene turns to Lynda in school the next day*

I tried to just get on with my normal life, but Bryan and everything that happened was still on my mind.

Joey: Heyyy! Lynda!

*Lynda turns around* Lynda: Oh, uh, hey, Joey.

Joey: How's it goin'?

Lynda: Oh, fine. *trying to smile*

Joey: Hey, I was thinking, maybe next week we could get together sometime, ya know? See a movie or something. *smiles suavely looking into Lynda's eyes*

Lynda: *Looks confused* Did you forget what happened last time?

Joey: Well, me and Rachel aren't together anymore.. So, what do ya say?

Lynda: Oh. Well, um, I don't know. See, I'm supposed to.. help my Mom cook dinner next week! We're having guests over. Ya know. Can't dissapoint Mom! *laughs and nods*

Joey: How about the week after that?

Then, I did something really stupid. I paniced. I didn't know what to say. The only words I could form was a nervous "Sure!"
---

The next week was normal for me. I talked to Micki everyday on the phone. I kept contact with Bryan. We were still just good friends. Belle had Darlene over for dinner. She hasn't changed. Some things never do.. Anyway, I spent alot of time avoiding talking to Joey, and trying to think of a way to get out of our ''date''. I don't know what it was, but I just couldn't say no.
---

*Scene fades to Lynda sitting on her bed with her eyes closed. She's not sleeping as someone knocks on the door*

Lynda: *opens eyes* Come in.

*Belle opens door*

Lynda: Hey Belle. *sits up* Want something?

Belle: Nope!

Lynda: Well?

Belle: *sits down quickly* Guess what?!?

Lynda: *laughs and makes a funny face* What, Belle?

Belle: I have a boyfriend!

Lynda: Congrats, Belle!

Belle: I've dated.. But I've never had an official ''boyfriend''.

Lynda: *laughs* Well, Belle, you're in for a bumpy ride. Who is this boy?

Belle: A boy named Tommy. He's a year older than me.. Lynda, he's so hot!

Lynda: *laughs and playfully rolls eyes* Don't get all fangirl on me.

Belle: I'm just happy!

Lynda: *laughs again a little harder and smiles* Alright! Don't act too eager, you'll scare the poor kid away. Besides, you've dated before..

Belle: True! Well, thanks Lynda. *Belle heads for the door and closes it and as soon as it closes you can hear Belle squeal quietly*

Lynda: *lays back down and rolls eyes before shaking her head*
---

*scene turns to Lynda and Milly walking home from school the next day*

Milly: It's so boring here lately. Nothing's happening.

Lynda: I guess so. I've just been busy, lately.

Milly: Hey, Lynda, I want to tell ya something.. but it's sorta a secret.

Lynda: Oh?

Milly: Well... I'm not supposed to tell you.

Lynda: So.. it has to do with me?

Milly: sort of... I mean, Believe me, I love telling secrets, but I'm not sure if I should!

Lynda: *laugh* Oh, come on Milly! You can't just tell a girl about a secret. You have to SHARE!

Milly: *smiles and nods* Ok.. So, you know how Joey and Rachel broke up?

Lynda: *shrugs* Yeah.

Milly: Well, Kristina told me that Jeff told her that--

Lynda: Whoawhoawhoa here. Who are Kristina and Jeff?

Milly: Some kids. But it's not the point!

Lynda: *sigh* Go on..

Milly: Ok. Kristina told me that Jeff told her that Joey said.. *pause*

Lynda: COME ON!

Milly: Joey said... That he REALLY LIKED YOU! And he also said you may be the one..

Lynda: Oh, God...

Milly: LYNDA!

Lynda: We have a major problem here.

Milly: What the crap could be wrong with THAT, girl?!?

Lynda: Well, this boy, Bryan..

Milly: *inturrupting* Him again?

Lynda: Milly, see, we... we ALMOST kissed.

Milly: Huh?

Lynda: We would have... if my friend hadn't walked in. We're just friends right now. *sigh* I don't know.

Milly: Well, it's obvious Joey wants to be more than your friend.

Lynda: But I don't know if I want that... Er. I don't.

Milly: *nods* Ah. well, can't say I'd feel the same, put in your position. Bryan must be some guy.

Lynda: *laughs* Oh, he is.
---

After that, I was pretty confused on what to do. I'd feel horrible making something up or not showing up for Joey, yet I didn't want to lead him on. I decided I'd just go, and make it very clear I wanted him as a friend, but nothing more.

(The day before Joey and Lynda's date. Talking to Micki on the phone)

Lynda: So, yeah, I'm just gonna go.

Micki: *eating something* *swallows* Yeah. Well, not like Bryan will ever find out, right? plus, you two aren't officially an item. Remember that.

Lynda: Eh. Guess you're right. But I feel so... so.. ick. you know? Like I'm hiding something from him.. and Joey, too. But what am I supposed to tell him? "No, Joey, I DON'T want to go to the movies with you" while all the other girls watch. He's all popular... and hot.

Micki: *putting chip into mouth* Well, you know, Bryan really cares about you. He's always talking about you. *laugh* Remember that when you're out with Joey. Don't be rude or anything, but ya know...

Lynda: *sigh* I will. *smiles* Well, thanks for the advice, Mick. I've gotta go. Bye!

Micki: Byeee.

*hang up*

Talking to Micki really helped me. She didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, but sometimes you just have to have a friend to talk to.

---

*Later that day Lynda is shown that day watching TV when she hears the doorbell ring*

*Lynda opens door*

Lynda: Bryan!

Bryan: Hey Lynda!

Lynda: Come in.. *Bryan and Lynda sit down on couch*

Lynda: What are you doing here?

Bryan: Well, I'll be here for 5 days. My Mom's visiting her Mom.. She lives not too far away from here!

Lynda: Awesome. I didn't know that.

Bryan: She just moved here 3 months ago, actually. I thought I'd stop by and say Hi.

Lynda: Can you stay a little while? My parents won't care..

Bryan: *looks at watch* Hm. I guess. My Mom went shopping with her Mom, so she'll be out for a while.

Lynda: Ok. We can go up in my room and hang out.

*Melanie walks in and stops*

Lynda: Oh, Mom, This is Bryan!

Melanie: Oh, hello, Bryan. I'm Melanie. Lynda's told me about you!

Bryan: *smiles* Oh. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Deen.

Lynda: Well, we'll be in my room, Mom.
---

(Lynda and Bryan are in Lynda's room just sitting and talking)

Lynda: I'm going to get a drink. Want anything, Bryan?

Bryan: Sure.

Lynda: I'll be right back. *Lynda is almost downstairs when she hears her phone ring* Eee. Bryan, can you get that? It's probably just Micki..!

Bryan: *yelling* Ok! *Bryan picks up phone* Hello? Who is this?

Man: This is Joey. Is Lynda there?

Bryan: Uh. yeah. Do you want me to get her? She's downstairs..

Joey: Oh, no. Don't bother her. Just tell her I'm sorry I won't be able to go to the movies with her tommorow because my Mom wants me to stay home. My brother is visiting from college.

*Lynda walks in and stops as Bryan has a weird look on his face*

Lynda: *mouthing the words* Who's that?

Bryan: Oh, um, sure. I'll tell her. You're welcome. Bye. *hangs up*

Lynda: Who was it?

Bryan: Uh. Joey?

Lynda: *looks suprised and a little upset* Oh. Well, what'd he say?

Bryan: That he was sorry, but he wouldn't be able to go to the movies with you tommorow..

Lynda: Oh. Oh well. *chuckle* *Lynda hands Bryan his drink as she sits down*

Bryan: *taking drink* So, who's Joey?

Lynda: A boy..

Bryan: I figured that much, Lynda.

Lynda: Uh. yeah. Well, he's a boy from school.

Bryan: A friend?

Lynda: Yeah..

Bryan: Oh.
---

I made a big mistake then. All I could think of was how I hoped that didn't ruin any chance of me and Bryan being together. I don't think he believed me when I told him Joey was just a friend. Anyway, later that night I got another call from Joey, telling me he wanted to see me, so I went and met him a few blocks from my house that night.

*scene fades to Lynda walking nervously up to a bench and sitting down, looking for Joey*

Now I was curious

*Joey walks up and Lynda stands up to greet him*

Joey: Oh, uh. Hey Lynda.

Lynda: Hey Joey. What do you want?

Joey: *nervous sigh* You better sit down.

Lynda: Oh.. Ok. *sits down on Bench as Joey joins her*

Joey: Uh. Like I said on the phone, I'm sorry I can't take you to the movies tommorow. I'm gonna be really busy this week, with hardly no time left to just hang out, but I wanted to tell you we could still go out another time.

Lynda: *looks uncomfortable and nervous* Oh. Ok.

Joey: And.. *pause*

Lynda: What is it, Joey?

Joey: I know we haven't known eachother long, but I feel like I've known you my whole life.. You're caring, sweet, and I really want to get to know you better, Lynda.

Lynda: *startled* Oh. um. That's really sweet, Joey.

Joey: *smiles and leans in toward Lynda, kissing her on the lips. Lynda tries to pull away, but as she does Joey puts his arm around her and pulls her closer like he can't tell*

Lynda: *hiding a guilty look on her face* Oh. wow. Joey, I really have to go. I'll see you around.. *Lynda quickly turns away and heads home*

Joey: ... Bye. *smiles mischeaviously*
---

*scene fades to Lynda talking to Milly on the phone early the next morning*

Micki wasn't at home when I called her, and I really needed someone to talk to.. so, I decided I'd call Milly and tell her my problems. Couldn't hurt. I was already so confused and I didn't know what to do.

Lynda: Hey, Milly?

Milly: Mmhmm?

Lynda: *sigh* Just need someone to talk to.

Milly: Something wrong, Lynda-loo?

Lynda: *laughs then stops to answer her* See, you know, Bryan, the guy I like, well, we're just friends.. But Joey kissed me lastnight.

Milly: WHAT? Tell me what happened!

Lynda: So, he told me to meet him at the bench by the park, so I did.. Then he told me I was such a sweet girl blah blah blah and he wanted to get to know me better.. then he kissed me. To top all this off, Bryan is in town right now. Joey is ruining this. ugh.

Milly: Wow. Sounds like you're in a pickle, Lynda. I don't know what to tell you but not to corner yourself in a relationship you don't want. If you like Bryan, tell him.

Lynda: Milly, that was very intelligent and well-thought-out sounding.

Milly: I know! *giggles*

Lynda: Well, anyway, I know I have to think of a way to get out of this thing with Joey.. But I AM sort of cornered. I'm already shy with boys, how do I tell one to.. back off?!

Milly: *sigh* I don't know, Lynda. Just do what your heart tells you!

Lynda: I suppose you're right.

Milly: mmhmm. So, he kissed you, eh?

Lynda: ... Yes.

Milly: On the lips??

Lynda: Yes, Milly, on the lips.

Milly: *laughs*
---

*scene turns to Bryan out taking a walk not really looking where he's going as he bumps into someone knocking a magazine out of the persons hand*

Bryan: Oh.. I'm sorry! *picks up magazine and gives it to her*

Girl: Oh, it's alright. I shouldn't have been walkin' so fast.

Bryan: *smiles*

Girl: I'm Milly! Milly Fredricks.

Bryan: Nice to meet you. *continues walking as Milly follows him*

Milly: Aww. Why the long face?

Bryan: Oh, nothing.

Milly: Are you sure?

Bryna: *pause*... No.

Milly: Ah. Well, you can tell me! I'm your friend, now.

Bryan: *laughs and shakes head* I guess so.

Milly: Well?

Bryan: See, there's this girl.. A really special girl who I.. I like alot. And, I don't know if I can tell her because we're friends right now. I was at her house and I picked up the phone, and a guy was answered. He said he couldn't take this girl to the movies because his brother was visiting from college and he had to stay home and visit with him... But that's beside the point, I'm afraid that they're going together. I don't have the guts to ask her. I don't want to know! *talking fast*

Milly: Uhh. oh. *nods* So, what is this guy who is in the ways name?

Bryan: Some guy named Joey.

Milly: Are you Bryan?

Bryan: *eyes get big* Yes. How did you know?

Milly: Um. Wild guess?

Bryan: I don't think so.

Milly: heh.

Bryan: Do you know something about this?

Milly: Ok. OK. I do.

Bryan: What? Why are you afraid to tell me?

Milly: *nervous* Oh, no reason.

Bryan: *SIGH* Milly, please. What is wrong?!

Milly: *gulp* If I tell you, you won't be mad at Lynda, will you?

Bryan: You even know her name? *sigh* Ok. Can't be THAT bad.

Milly: Ok, see, Joey called Lynda to come over later, after you left.. And Joey told her all this stuff about how he really liked her and then they kissed! *fast talking*

Bryan: She told me they were just friends!

Milly: You didn't believe her?

Bryan: .. No.

Milly: They are!

Bryan: So, you know her?

Milly: Of course! She didn't even WANT to kiss him.

Bryan: This sounds pretty unbelievable, Milly. I don't know what to think. She lied to me.

Milly: She didn't lie! She doesn't even want to be more than friends with him.

Bryan: She still kissed him.

Milly: Men are so stubborn! Why can't you just believe me? I talked to her today!

Bryan: *sigh* I have to think about this. Thanks... I think.
---

*scene turns to Bryan walking up Lynda's stairs and knocking madly as Lynda opens the door*

Lynda: Hey Bryan!

Bryan: Hi.

Lynda: Come in.

Bryan: Lynda, we need to talk.

Lynda: Oh? uh. ok..

*Bryan and Lynda sit down*

Bryan: Have you ever kissed Joey?

Lynda: What the?! Bryan?

Bryan: I'm giving you the chance to tell me the truth.

Lynda: Why do you care anyway?

Bryan: I wan't to know.

Lynda: Ok. I did. *tries to act calm cool and collected like she knows Bryan won't care*

Bryan: I knew it.

Lynda: How?

Bryan: Milly told me.

Lynda: MILLY?

Bryan: Yeah... I ran into her.

Lynda: Bryan, why are you doing this? Does it even matter to you?

Bryan: *was going to say something else, then stops* I... Just wanted to see if you'd tell me the truth. yeah.

Lynda: Oh. Ok. We ARE just friends, Bryan.

Bryan: Then why did you kiss him?

Lynda: I didn't.. He kissed me.
---

I didn't know what to say. I knew it bothered him, yet he wouldn't really say it did. So, I decided I'd just keep going with the flow.

*two days later Lynda is shown walking out of the library after getting some books and looking at the ground as she hears something. It's Joey talking to another girl*

Joey: Rachel, I'm so glad you understand.

Rachel: Oh, Joey. I've been so lonely without you. *Rachel pulls him in and kisses him passionately*

Joey: *smiles* I have been too. You're the only one for me.

*Lynda looks mad and walks up to Joey and then ''accidently'' bumping into Joey*

Joey: Oh, uh, Lynda. What are you doing here?

Lynda: Listen, baby, I just wanted to tell you I'm so sorry, but I won't be able to come over tonight. I know it was gonna be *quiet giggle* special, but I'm REALLY busy. *puts arm around Joey as he looks confused*

Lynda: oh, *looking at Rachel* Do I know you? Oh, yes! You're that girl Joey broke up with. I'm glad to see you two are still friends.

Rachel: WHAT? Joey! I thought you were through with that B*tch! She's nothing but trouble! *walks off madly and throwing a book at Joeys stomach as he leans over in pain*

Lynda: Oh, did I miss something, darling?

Joey: Lynda...

Lynda: Don't give me that. *walks away laughing with a big smile on face*
---
At the same time I was mad, I was relieved. No more worrying about Joey, and I made up my mind about Bryan. Anyway, he didn't have much more time here, so we went to see a movie together.

*they're walking out*

Bryan: *stuffing some popcorn in his mouth* That was pretty good.

Lynda: Yep.

Bryan: Hey, Lynda?

Lynda: Yes?

Bryan: I need to tell you something. It's been on my mind for a long time..

Lynda: *smiles* Go on.

Bryan: I think I've gotten to know you pretty well since we've met, and you're a really sweet person. But now I think.. I think we could be more than just friends. *nervous*

Lynda: *looks a bit suprised and shy, but happy* I'd really like that, Bryan.

Bryan: *big smile* Good. Me too! *laugh* It's taken me so long to say that, Lynda.. I'm glad I finally did.

Lynda: You know? So have I!

Lynda: There's also something that's been on my mind.

Bryan: Oh?

Lynda: Yeah.

Bryan: Yep. *Bryan Kisses Lynda on the lips lightly. Lynda puts her arms around Bryans neck as she pulls away and smiles*

Lynda: Good guess, Bryan. *smiles*
---

So, that was the end of me and Bryan's confusing friendship, and the beginning of something more. Seems like such a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Finally, everything worked out how I wanted it. Seems my mind was pretty occupied through all this, but it made me realize.. Everything I have is everything I thought I'd lose when I moved. I still talk to Micki everyday, and I see her and Bryan more often than I thought I would. We'll never lose contact. Any of us. If this proved one thing to me, it'd be that if you really care about someone, moving won't change it a bit.

*scene turns to Micki, Bryan, Doug and Lynda a month later driving in Lynda's old neighborhood as the credits start to roll and Wherever You Will Go by The Calling plays*

For some reason it kept spacing the words and stuff so I had to fix that. If parts are missing, that's why. I read it, just not all at once. I did it while I was fixing it. Ok.

:o Aw, Lynn, that was cute!

:( I wish my nails were stronger. I think I really messed them up from wearing all those fake nails.. Also, my 4th finger on my right hand is messed up from my reaction to the glue I used. It's like, the part around my nail is darker and the skin feels sorta thinner, and the nail looks deeper in, if that made sense. O_O I learned my lesson. Still say this song is a good idea. Poor guys seem so lifeless over there without us. Very few simultaneous posts.

I don't wanna hear about it anymore
It's a shame I've got to live without you anymore
There's a fire in my heart
A pounding in my brain
It's driving me crazy

We don't need to talk about it anymore
Yesterday's just a memory
Can we close the door
I just made one mistake
I didn't know what to say when you called me baby

Don't say goodnight
Say you're gonna stay forever
Oh, ooh, whoa, all the way

Can you take me high enough
To fly me over (fly me over) yesterday
Can you take me high enough
It's never over
Yesterday's just a memory
(Yesterday's just a memory and)

I don't want to live without you anymore
Can't you see I'm in misery
And you know for sure
I would live and die for you
And I'd know just what to do when you call me baby

Don't say goodbye
Say you're gonna stay forever
Oh, ooh, whoa, all the way

Can you take me high enough
Can you fly me over (fly me over) yesterday
Can you take me high enough
It's never over
Yesterday's just a memory away
I was running for the door
The next thing I remember
I was running back for more, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah

(Solo)

Don't say goodbye
Say you're gonna stay forever
Oh, ooh, whoah, all the way
All the way, all the way, yeah

Can you take me high enough
Can you fly me over (fly me over) yesterday
Can you take me high enough
It's never over
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh

Can you take me high enough
