Some additional examples not already mentioned above...........
Ward -- "Well, dear, I'm at the age where even Susan Hayward doesn't look like Susan Hayward anymore."
Beaver -- "Gee, mom, Wally's seen Rock Hudson eat in the movies lots of times."
Wally -- "Even when Rock Hudson is yelling at Doris Day in the movies, you know in the end he's gonna end up huggin' her."
Girl at dance with Wally -- "Wally, you have eyes just like Tab Hunter."
Beaver -- "Mom? Was dad in the same war with President Eisenhower?"
There's also a latter-year episode where June mentions something to Ward about his "Kennedy coloring book".

Frank Sinatra was mentioned a couple times. Lana turner, Natalie Wood, Sal Mineo, Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee have also been mentioned in various eps.
In one ep Wally says Beaver was talking in his sleep; "it sounded like he was singing the Wyatt Earp theme song-- but maybe he was just moanin'."
----------------------------
Beaver: And when the bus gets to Texas, I get to go see the Alamo, where John Wayne was a big hero.
Wally: Heck, Beaver, everywhere you go John Wayne was a big hero.
------------
Beaver: Alright, but even if the other guys don't know it {that Lumpy, with Eddie, started the towel fight that got Wally kicked off the track team} you'll know it.
Lumpy: So what?
Beaver: So you're gonna know what a big rat you are. And then you're gonna feel like a even bigger rat. And pretty soon you'll feel like the biggest rat in the world.
Lumpy: Where do you get all this junk?
Beaver: It happend in the movies-- to a man who was mean to Jimmy Stewart.
Lumpy: Look, Beaver, you better beat it!
Beaver: Okay-- but just remember what I said, Lumpy.
Lumpy: I told you!-- my real name is Clarence!
Beaver: I know it is-- Clarence Rat. [Lumpy makes a motion as if he's going to strike].... (sings) Lumpy - Dumpy- stupid as a rat!-- a-ah!
It's also in this ep, "Wally's Track Meet," that earlier another show is referred to. Beaver tells Wally that at the last minute Eddie and Lumpy are going to come forward and admit they started the towel fight, then Wally is back on the team he runs and wins the meet for the team. Wally asks him why he thinks that "jazz" will happen, and Beaver says "It happens every week on...." And here is where I don't understand what Beaver says. It sounds something like "Luminapolis." If this is referring to a real show, that's not the title because I can't find any record of it.

In the episode, "Larry Hides Out," Beaver and Larry are in Larry's sister's room. Beaver notices a photograph of Edd Byrnes ("Kookie") of 77 Sunset Strip:
Beaver: Who's that?
Larry: That's Kookie from 77 Sunset Strip. My sister has a crush on him.

tdr, in Wally's Track Meet that you mentioned, I always thought Beaver says "Men from Annapolis". I just assumed that was a tv show, but I had never heard of it until Beav said it.

Shirley Temple is mentioned during the episode in which the class brings in their baby pictures....
Judy says "My mother says I looked just like Shirley Temple".
Beaver (or was it Gilbert) replies "Shirley Temple's not a baby. She's a grown up lady on television"
fyi - Shirley Temple had a TV Series in the mid-late 50s which showed fairy tale stories. I think it was called the Shirley Temple Storybook, or something like that. She was probably in her late 20s or early 30s when this show ran. I don't know how long the show lasted.

There was an ep where Wally told Beaver to do something and Beaver replied, "Who do you think I am? Your man Higgins?" That was an allusion to another short-lived ABC series "Our Man Higgins," about a butler, played by Stanley Holloway of "My Fair Lady" fame.

On a recent episode June mentioned Beaver had gone to see "How the West was Won". These would have been in 1961
