Actually, Al and Peggy Bundy were a good match. They used to bitch at each other all the time, but it was obvious in some really weird, strange way they still loved each other. Besides, can you think of anyone else who could marry either Al or Peggy?

But on Married with Children there was an other mismatched couple: Marcy and Jefferson D'Arcy. At first, Marcy was married to Steve Rhoades, who was this really greedy, money-sick, but hard-working, kinda dull snob. When Steve at a certain moment didn't want to work anymore (after he was fired), Marcy went mad and arranged a job for him. Then a few seasons later, she marries Jefferson, a lazy, gold-digging, worthless, unemployed male version of Peg that Marcy has to support, and Marcy was fine with it. What's up with that? :crazy:
