This was in my USWeekly Magazine. They had the 7 biggest shockers. Most of them are the same ones (The divas leaving, John staying, etc.), but this one caught my eye:

"Voting is monitored and tabulated by an independent agency," Rich assures Us, but tongues are still wagging. On March 30th, a producer coached the audience on Diana DeGarmos lyrics to the crowd could sing along, ensuring a big response. And was it right for Cowell to flat-out say pre-finale that DeGarmo will win? Most damning: E! Online reports that producers are making sure that the final song suits DeGarmos style.

Hmm.. and I thought they were pushing for http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=1777831

Oh... and William Hung has a DVD 'Hanging With Hung' coming out on June 29th, and another CD this fall. -.-

Bah.. its gonna be IDOL ALBUM CRAZY come this fall.. everyone has an album coming out!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=1777567 http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=1777574 http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=1777704 http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=1777831

hm interesting. but the thing about

On March 30th, a producer coached the audience on Diana DeGarmos lyrics to the crowd could sing along, ensuring a big response. ... was "Do You Love Me". Lythegoe had to tell them to respond, that was part of the song. I remember reading that in someones LJ

it's not like it matters. simon told her that it you cant see that in any high school after that performance (while still loving John Stevens who can't perform period). They weren't pushing for Diana in the finale that's for sure. William Hung is so annoying. Who would waste money on his cd and a dvd....

First of all, your sig...AHH! When is that happening? I would kill to see Salute Your Shorts again...seriously. And Hey Dude too.

Back on topic, IMO the producers and judges were definitely pushing for Fantasia in the weeks leading to the finale, but maybe they thought Diana would benefit more from winning? And by "the final song" I'm assuming they mean I Believe. That song suits Fantasia 50 thousand times more than it suits Diana! Gospel singers in the background...come on now.

Off topic  The voting is happening now, the airing of the winner is in the U-Pick timeslot which is somewhere in the afternoon  you might wanna check tvguide :D

backontopic- Yeah "I Believe" was definitely for Fantasia. They can't say that that was written specifically for Diana. But even though it didnt' fit Diana's style, she did it great justice :)
