that time, TV shows characters were not allowed to mention shows from another network. So if anyne knows of a TV show that mention another one let me know. I square I remember Fred Sanford mentioning the Flying Nun

There was an episode in the last year of the Brady Bunch that was a pilot for a Ken Berry spinoff. In one scene Carol and Mike are in bed and they mention either Archie Bunker or All in the Family, which is bizarre because Brady is like a fantasy in comparison to AITF. You'd think AITF would mention watching Brady Bunch, not the other way around.

Also in AITF the episode that introduces Louise has Archie meeting her for the first time and asking her in small talk how she liked the Julia show last night. She sarcastically asks him how he liked the Doris Day Show.

The quote was something to the effect of "She makes Archie Bunker look like a liberal!" in allusion to Mrs. Payne, the neighbor who came and criticized the Kellys for the new additions to their family (played by Molly Dodd). I believe Kathy Kelly said it, not Carol Brady.
