M*A*S*H comes to mind, of course, with its many cast changes. I'm not saying any of the actors are better than any others, they're all great, but the show lost two castmembers, went on for a few seasons, lost another, survived, and the lost another and yet continued for a while still, with superb writing and acting.
If we're going to branch out into non-sitcoms, then I'd say Babylon 5 and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer did rather well with cast changes, although the latter had some issues in the last few seasons but still tossed out some excellent episodes.
Just out of intense curiosity, what's the point of starting a thread that does nothing but link to another thread? Are we supposed to respond to it? They've already brought up some shows on that thread and it seems pointless to rehash them here.

Night Court got better after Markie Post and Marsha Warfield joined the cast.

Facts Of Life is a great example. Many fans of the show tend to ignore the first season and consider Jo's arrival in season 2 as the true "beginning" of the series

No offense to them because I do like both of them, but once Lisa Bonet and Marisa Tomei left, A Different World got good!

even tho seasons 2 and 3 are the finest seasons of Buffy IMO, I will honestly say that season 6 was my favorite cast bar none. Buffy, Willow, Xander, Tara (who died right before the end of the season), Anya, Dawn (hate her, but can stomach her more than Riley), Spike and just a little Giles. I thought this cast was probably the finest the series had, it all went downhill the final season tho when they added too many new characters

Cheers - It was great with Coach and Diane, but the replacements of Woody and Rebecca gave it a breath of fresh air. Without these changes, I'm not sure it would've lasted eleven seasons.
I think most Barney Miller fans agree that the show got even better when Fish and Chano left and they brought in Dietrich and Levitt.

Ellen
Season 1 was titled: "These Friends of Mine." Ellen's friends were Adam, Anita and Holly. In the second season Anita and Holly were gone and in came Joe, Paige and later Audrey. In season 3, Adam left and Spence came. From then on the cast remained the same. I think the show was the best with the season 3 cast.

Yes, those cast changes were essential to Night Court's success.
I also though Cheers was better with Rebecca and the additions of Woody, Frasier, and Lilith.

I haven't seen a post yet where TMC listed his own thoughts, not a link to some other story.

I agree totally, Ellen hit it's stride in seasons 3 and 4. I like that cast best

Am I one of the few people out there who likes the first season of
The Facts Of Life? I like Jo, but I think she was just one of a few
things that helped the show in its second season. There was also
better writing and the show benefited from being moved from
Friday to Wednesday at 9:30 PM after Diff'rent Strokes.

I also think Cheers was a lot better when Rebecca, Frasier, Woody, and Lilith were on. I can't stand watching the Diane years.
Wings got better when Antonio joined.

Mama's Family, imo, got better when Rue McClanahan, Eric Brown and Karin Argoud all left (even though I LOVE them) and when Beverly Archer and Allan Kayser joined. The syndicated years of MF were the best ever, imo.
