I keep trying to vote for Fantasia, but it's either I get a busy signal or I get the wrong number and the phone starts ringing (yes, it's embarassing).
So sadly, I only got 3 votes in for Fantasai.

I have been voting ever since around 9:45 for Diana. How many times have I gotten through since then? 9!! Every other week before this week, around this time I'd already be at 40. UGH. The lines are so busy this week.

Jasmine was pretty good this week, so Im getting nervous for Diana. She wasnt as great as she usually is, until her last song. It was amazing. But, everyone always remembers the last performance, so hopefully they vote by that :D. Fantasia was pretty good, but can the judges get any further up her ass?

Did anyone notice Clive Davis looking like he wanted a lapdance from Fantasia when she came out into the audience and started like, dancing with him kind of?? He was reaching his arms out like he was about to grab her ass or something. :lol:
Yeah the judges are obviously for Fantasia, but she's the best 1 in my opinion, so I dont see why they shouldnt be...If Fantasia gets voted off I dont care who wins, Im not watching anymore.

Singingwise, yes. As a person... heck no. I can't idolize a HS drop out, got pregnant at my own age, no job, relies on parents financially, and did nothing but "eat" before Idol.

Diana really disappointed me with this first song.. I would have preferred for her to sing Chain of Fools because that is her favorite song to sing. Tasia definitely took the safe root since she's already recorded the song on a cd.. obviously not much to it now. I think Diana got the most difficult song from the judges. It wasn't great, but I still liked it. I remember Trenyce singing that on country night last year. (It's a Leann Rhymes song I believe). I liked Tasia's last song and Diana last one BLEW ME AWAY. I only wish I could have been there live in the studio because I bet it sounded even a million times better in person.

And I will challenge the anyone being better than Tasia thing actually.

Fantasia picked one of the safest songs possible for her first song. The girl has RECORDED that song on a cd. Of course she is going to nail it. It's also Diana's favorite song to sing so I have no doubt that she could do just as well.

Diana's judges choice song was much more difficult than Fantasia's Fool In Love. I have my doubts that Tasia could off "Because You Loved Me." Diana did not even do that bad on the song. If Fantasia would have sang that way, it would have been the best thing ever.

And Diana beat Fantasia out for best song on Clive's pick in my opinion. Diana's last song was amazing and the judges did not give her enough credit at ALL! (except Paula). They just credited Clive whenever she is the one who went out there and NAILED that song. She owned it and it's a shame that she didn't get the credit she deserved.

Well, it's obvious who the judges want to win. Fantasia could not have been shoved done our throats any more tonight. The judges even went as far as telling Diana she should be thanking Clive for one of the best vocal performances of the season; not giving the girl no where near the amount of credit that she deserves. And then to stick Jasmine with a song that La Toya did amazing with? They didn't need to make it that obvious that they wish to sabotage her. They could have just let her fail at a song that seemed suited for her.

I have never been a big Fantasia fan and I still believe that she is overrated. However, tonight's performances showed that she is better than the other finalists. I give Jasmine credit for doing well tonight. She did far better than past weeks and far better than the judges gave her credit for. Nonetheless, she was still the weakest of the three. Fantasia scores points because, like her or hate her, she sings on key every time. We cannot say the same thing for Jasmine. Her "All By Myself," though technically okay, paled in comparison to La Toya's. Diana had a solid night punctuated by a strong final song. Clive Davis was a good guest judge, but overall, the judges just seemed Fantasia blinded. Yes she was better than the others, but the way the judges were talking you would think she is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Fantasia deserves to win, now that La Toya is out, but I( wouldn't mind an upset. Fantasia's style just doesn't fit me I guess.

Okay , I seriously want Jasmine out tonight! If either Diana or Fantasia gets booted tonight , I'll probably cry. I don't like Fantasia at all (sry to all her fans!) She has a funny personality and a strong voice , but I don't like her voice at all. Everytime she sings , it always sounds the same. I don't know , maybe that's just me , but me and all my friends are rooting for Diana! :D WE LOVE DIANA! :)

What does Fantasia's personal life have to do with whether or not she should be American Idol? A lot of celebrities had hard times before becoming famous, just because she had a child before she was married you dont like her? big deal. Yes, she's only 19 and she lives with her parents, is that such a big deal? So do a lot of 19 yr olds. She was joking when she said all she does is eat. I cant stand criticism of her about her personal life, it's so stupid to not vote for her because of that. Criticism of her voice is one thing...but saying you dont like her b/c she has an out-of-wedlock daughter is totally stupid, imo.

I agree. Just because Fantasia is only 19 and already has a kid, doesn't mean people shouldn't vote for her JUST BECAUSE of that.
Besides, I'm pretty sure she's a good Mom.
