Peri Gilpin stars as her Frasier character, Roz Doyle, who in the season finale of Frasier, gets a promotion and takes Frasier's old job, but Roz after a month decides that it is not the same without her buddy Frazier, so she quits. Martin, Ronne, Daphne, Niles, and David lose contact with Roz after Frazier leaves for Chicago to be with Charolette-his new fiancee of six months and planning to get married in June 2005 (where Roz gets invited and attends with Alice, Jack, Megan, and Lynn)-that episode becomes the season finale of "Roz in Queens".
Roz Doyle takes her 7 year old daughter, Alice, and moves to Queens, New York. Roz and Alice Doyle move in with her very single sister, Lynn Doyle (Jennifer Coolidge). Lynn shows Roz and Alice the city. Alice becomes friends with Megan-a girl from Lynn's apartment building, who is her age. Megan lives with her divorced single father, Jack McGold (John Stamos). Jack immediately falls for Roz, as Roz immediately falls for Jack. Lynn pushes Roz to ask Jack out, as she does and he accepts willingly. Lynn offers to watch Alice and Megan while they go out to a dinner and a movie. Roz and Jack's date was great. Roz and Jack make a date for a second date the following weekend.
How does it sound, is it good, is it not good, be honest!
