What Do You Think of American Idol Now?

With the final five contestants , who do you want to win? I`m rooting for Diana , LaToya , and Jasmine. I like them all the same. I`m a big AI fan , but I was just upset when John Peter and Jennifer were voted out. I was shocked! What were we thinking?

I think this years top 5 is more talented than last years, but I think the ones with the best talent last year are more talented than the ones this year. I also prefer AI2 to AI3. Last year I had one fav. (well, 2 if you count Rickey), but when I went to the tour I bought only Clay stuff. Now, this year I like more contestants than last and want to buy stuff of: JPL, Stevens, Diana, Matt, Amy, and Camile. Maybe George, havent decided yet.:crazy:

I think this is a great Top 5 this year. AI2's Top 5 had fewer greats than this year's entire Top 5 but the few that were great (Clay, Ruben, Kim Locke) last year were not just great; they were phenomenal.

5. George Huff (I would have had him higher but he has been getting progressively bad the past few weeks. Maybe this week will turn him around)

My top five from the beginning is actually the top 5 now, so im happy. I like each of the final five a lot.. but here are my rankings

1. Jasmine Trias
2. Diana DeGarmo
3/4. George Huff and LaToya London (George has been just mediocre for the past 3 weeks.. im waiting to be wowed again. LaToya just has no spark even though she has a spectacular voice)
5. Fantasia Barrino

Last year's top five had four phenomenons and one mediocre (Josh). This year's top five is five good singers. That's it though... nobody really has a cult following like Clay and Ruben had last year. Whoever the winner is is probably going to be a little less successful than even Kelly Clarkson. Of course Ruben isn't all that popular anymore either; it's hard for him though with Clay always stealing the spotlight (laughs). Clay's the only real success and lasting musical artist that I think AI will ever produce.

Diana and Jasmine keep getting better. Fantasia has just always been the same. She's never gotten better, and never gotten worse. La Toya gets better, but she's very boring (except last week and Elton John Night). And George, well he used to be really good but he's done really badly lately. Hopefully he'll come back to his old ways this week.
