I've watched every episode to all the shows I own with the exception of:

The Dick Van Dyke Show (1-4) - I'm waiting until I get season 5 and then I'm gonna watch them all in order. However, I did watch alot from seasons 1 and 2 already.

Saved by the Bell (1-4) - I watch some, but TBS has ruined that show for me. I still want to own the episodes, but I don't care for watching it all the time.

Green Acres (1) - I watched the first few and liked it, but I just don't find myself urging to watch it. Once I get more seasons, however, I'll do the the Dick Van Dyke Show and watch them in order.

Dilbert (1-2) - I don't really like it.

The Critic (1-2) - It's okay, but I don't find myself wanting to watch it. I've seen a few episodes though.

I still have yet to start the season one sets of Charlie's Angels, Homicide Life On The Street or Bernie Mac. I've got the Jetsons, Starsky & Hutch, the 2nd season of "Streetball" and possibly Smallville on the way, so I'm trying to finish the Flinstones, Saved By The Bell seasons 3 & 4 and Three's Company season 2, each of which I've completed the first two discs. Also this week I finished disc 5 of the 6 discs in my Freaks & Geeks set. I love that show so much I don't want to finish it, knowing there won't be any more episodes to look forward to, so I'm saving the last three episodes for a later date.

NewsRadio was at it's best in seasons 1 and 2. So if you don't like those seasons, you probably wouldn't like the rest. However, season 4 is my favorite. Although Catherine (Khandi Alexander) is off the show from early season 4. Season 4 didn't worry about Dave and Lisa's relationship and just concentrated on making the audience laugh. Plus, so much else happened that kept it entertaining. (Matthew gets fired, continues to try and get his job back, Catherine leaves, Matthew gets his job back, Dave and Lisa break up, Dave is demoted to Producer and Lisa is promoted to News Director. After an election, Dave and Lisa switch jobs back.) Plus, Phil Hartman was the funniest in season 4. It also happened to be his last season. Um, anyways, uh, yeah seasons 1 and 2 are the best. The characters are more normal in the early years. Matthew kind of does a Screech (He starts off just a little weird, but by the end, he's a complete freak).

I thought I'd like "Dilbert" so I bought it. Andy Dick even did a commercial on my local UPN, promoting Dilbert and NewsRadio.

Family Guy: Volume 1: I'm currently on my second viewing of this set. (I'm getting Vol 2 for my birthday)

Freaks and Geeks: The Complete Series: I've seen the entire set once, and will be watching it many, many more times.

Gilmore Girls: Pilot Episode: I haven't watched this one yet. The first time I tried to watch it, the copy was defective, and I haven't watched the replacement disc yet. (This is one of those WB individually sold discs)

Malcolm in the Middle: Season 1: I've seen this set three times so far. This is one of those shows that get funnier upon subsequent viewings, IMO.

Married with Children: Season 1 and 2: I've seen S1 once, and have only watched disc 1 of S2 so far.

Punky Brewster: Season 1: I've seen all but 2 episodes on this set.

Saturday Night Live: The Best of Will Ferrell: I've seen this entire disc once.

Saved by the Bell: Seasons 1/2 & 3/4: I've only watched disc 1 of S-1/2, and I haven't started S-3/4 yet.

The Simpsons: Season 1 & 3: I've seen all of Season 1 once. I've watched all but disc 4 of Season 3.

Upright Citizens Brigade: Season 1: I've watched all but disc 3 on this set. I don't see myself watching it anytime soon, as I really don't care for this show...

That's an insane amount to tv-dvd viewing you've done there. I don't think I have as many individual titles as you and I still have a bunch to get through. The only changes from my last post: I've completed the Flintsones Season 1 and just finished All In The Family Season 3 this weekend. I'll be focusing on Good Times season 3 this week and then go through the first two seasons of Soap.

I never watch anything in syndication (well, once in a GREAT while).... and as for current shows -- no more than 2, maybe 3 a night.

I actually dont watch that much TV though.
Only about 3 or 4 hours a day. Maybe 5 on the weekend. (thats a lot to most people.... but some on this board claim to watch over 8 :eek: )

I got in January, the 11th I think, well, it was whatever day Gilligan's Island - Season 2 came out. I got it at Media Play for only $18. They had a bunch of FOX TVDVDs on sale, MTM was dirt cheap at $32. I paid $45.... but it was still well worth it.

Me: haven't started.

Nothing against the other series (Taxi being the best of the bunch), but early FP is hysterical. Definitely the best season of the series. The episode with "Dr. No" (I forget the real title), is probably my favorite of the series.

if you ever get around to it, even if you don't like season 1, I'd suggest Netflixing season 2. There is a complete story arc (3 or 4 episodes) with Erica Gimpel from Fame as an FBI agent sent to help Sheriff Valenti with a missing girl. And not just that, but Devon G-something (curly haired guy from My So-Called Life) also joins for about 8 episodes as Maria's cousin. I know you're a fan of both shows so that might be somewhat of interest to you.

With the three day weekend coming up, I plan on getting through a good chunk of both Fresh Prince and Taxi.

God bless central New York.... it gets (or at least used to) so damn cold up here that they couldn't afford to heat school for one of the weeks during winter. So they decided to give us President's Day off -- for an entire week. And this doesn't count against us as snowdays, since it's planned every year.

if you ever get around to it, even if you don't like season 1, I'd suggest Netflixing season 2.

Three day weekends are great. The problem is, we have so few that they pilled up three together for us. Either way, time off is time off.
