Okay, I went to a thrift store, picked up a copy of True Blue, and it said True Blue Madonna on it with her picture on it . I said "okay" and bought it. Then I went to Amazon.com, and found out that there was another True Blue(original recording remastered), but this cover was blank with only her picture on it. Then I went to another thrift store, and saw the one with only her picture on it, but when I looked at the tracklisting, I realized that it was the same tracklisting as the original. I also realized that the one I had bought from the first thrift store's cassette was black, and the one I saw with the picture on it was a clear tape. I am so confused. I even took out my old copy and compared the pictures. The covers were completely different, one saying True Blue, and the other just a picture. So shouldn't the second one have been the Original Recording Remastered? But the confusing thing is even though it was the picture only, it had the same exact tracklisting as my copy. When I opened up the second one, I realized that the printed words were slightly changed a little. What happened?

ok....

True Blue was released in 1986. The original cd and cassette pressings were JUST the picture of Madonna, without any writing. A few years later, the album became a "Super Savers" type of title, and since the album was about 5 years old at the point, they added "MADONNA - TRUE BLUE" in writing on the cd and cassette. Then in 2001, Warner remastered and added bonus tracks to Madonna's first 3 albums, and they restored the original wordless cover to it.
