I recently purchased a few DVD's and one of them was The Complete Second Season DVD of All in the Family and I was happy surprised to see David Soul (Starsky and Hutch) and Demond Wilson (Sanford and Son) appearing in two of the episodes...Can anybody remember seeing other televsion personality on a particular tv show before or after they landed on their own series?

Lisa Kudrow-Mad about You before she landed Friends, but ironically on Friends she played a twin to her character from Mad About You

Courtney Cox(Arquette)-Family Ties, then Friends
