What do you think of the results?

John Stevens should have left!!! I give him 1 more week. JPL did okay this week!! :mad:

Im mad. Of course Im a JPL fan, hes my fav. What Im so mad about is that he's had a few bad weeks and he'd always be safe. Finally, he gives his best performance, and gets the boot. I just dont get it.

I liked JPL a lot this week. :mad:

I think now it's just a matter of time with the others. Like, John Stevens could be fantastic next week, but he'll still probably go. They're just running outta steam. ohno:

:crying: This is the worst feeling ever. I have been crying my eyes out for almost an hour now. How in the world? I just don't get it. I love you JPL , no matter what, and I am going to that concert this summer, if I have to escape from my house, and go by myself. You didn't deserve to go, and if any record producer knew how much we all loved him, they would give him a record deal now. THIS SUCKS !!! I have absolutly notta reason to vote for anyone on AI anymore. I cannot believe it...

Alright I suppose I'm sane enough now to share something useful.

So once Ryan said Diana, John, and JPL were in the bottom 3, it was right then and there a lose/lose/lose situation for me because those 3 are my Top 3 favorites in AI. But out of them, I would have wanted Diana to get voted off. And did she? Oh no of course not. Of course she sings the crappy song and the judges tell her it wasn't great and she's safe (no really, I love Diana but bear with me, I'm mad) and John Stevens now....well I love the guy and all but he's been really weak lately and this week was his big comeback. JPL though...man...this week was his HUGE comeback. It was like he rose from the dead or something. And what I don't understand is that he's safe after his weak performances (like This Old Heart of Mine) and when he does great, he gets voted off. Of course, I would have still been made if he was voted off after motown week, but it'd be morally right because he truly didn't do well.

OH MAN, and George Huff was safe after that extremely boring performance...what in the world? That's all I'm gonna say about that because if I shared all my feelings, I'd be saying some pretty not nice things..

And JPL gets voted off on his best week ever. UGH.

Ugh and the worst part is that I feel like it's partly my fault. Each week, I usually vote for him about 20 times or so (last week I did 40 though..) and I couldn't get through last night at all. But I assumed that'd be fine since he had so many other fans...and he gets voted off. This show is more like a soap opera rather than a singing competition haha

This is almost funny. No offense but we have girls crying over this guy and being all dramatic. It is NOT that serious. He will probably come back to the music industry soon but gosh you don't have to say "well this was rigged" and all that...face it...America wanted whothey wanted. And to the people who say they voted over 100 times, thats just rediculous. People you win some you lose some, gget over it. I mean yeah saying "i really wish JPL wouldn't have left! :( " Thats okay but i mean saying "OMG I'm like crying my tears out....GOD THIS IS RIGGED! I'll never watch American Idol again" Yeah well sorry get over it, if you don't like the outcome that the contest gives you, don't tune in at all, because this is just annoying. Thats a good attitude. Guys I tell ya what happens...A person does an outstandin performance so eevryone assumes that they are safe so they don't vote as much and then when weak people give performances, their fans freak out and vote 100 million times.

Im still mad. Im disappointed I wont be able to see him perform next week. I, personally, think this show is rigged. I've felt that way ever since Clay lost last year. You look at the Billboard charts and most of it is filled with rap/R&B/hip-hop etc.. thats why they pushed for Ruben last year- to make $$$. It obviously didnt work the way they planned, and Clay did so much better (:D). They still want that type of music so now theyre pushing for La Toya and Fantasia. I dunno.. this is what Ive been reading around online, and I wouldnt put it past them. I read that they put the 2 Jo(h)ns and Diana in the bottom 3 because those three have the biggest fanbases and are the biggest threats to the two 'diva's'. They want to get rid of them early instead of a repeat of last year. IMO, I just dont get how JPL got voted off on his best week. Yah, I know some people automatically thought he was safe and didnt vote, but thats bs because his fanbase is huge and I doubt none of them voted. Also, a lot of JPL fans are JS fans and split their votes, which messes things up too. Im not gonna protest AI3 now or anything because he's gone. Whatever. If people love him, he'll be back. With JPL's fanbase, and the fact that he was voted out tonight. And, Clay last year and his fanbase. You cant help but wonder if its rigged, or at least some of it.
I liked at the end, how he stood his dad up and had him dance to his song. (that was his dad right?) anyway, I liked it. :nod: Exactly. Like Corey Clark even said, not all reality TV is real!!! Remember when he went out partying that night? He said the producers 'pushed' him to do it for good TV.

Exactly. Even though last season my gut was telling me Ruben had won, when they announced my heart sank and I was literally sick to my stomache for 3 days. I was heartbroken. Sometimes when I think about it now Im all 'grr.. damn them!' :lol: You get connected with these people and root for them, so to see them leave is very disappointing.

All day today at school, I had this sick feeling in me because I kept thinking about JPL. It's just so unfair that he got out last night! I think John Stevens did good, but he should have been out because he's younger and he has another chace to be on American Idol....and JPL doesn't!

I am upset that JPL was out as much as the next person. But I can't picture him as the next American Idol. I can think of several people in the Top 12 that are ten times better than him and fit my idea of an American Idol. They are Latoya, Jennifer (who has been getting better with every week), Diana, Jasmine, Fantasia, and George. It's unfortunate that he is gone but it is not the end of the world for me. The world won't spin off its axis because he has been voted off. There are six better hopefuls left. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of his but I knew he was not going to win this whole thing. It was great seeing him while it lasted.
