Avril's pretty much dead now. Her fling in the smmer of 2002 was pretty much the only time she was ever really big.

well, let's see how the new cd does. Not every artist is like Britney and keeps releasing an album one at a time and keeping in the public eye.

I don't like Avril, but I don't see why she is dead because she took a break between albums. Christina was out of the public eye for a year and a half before she re-emerged, and she was just as big as ever when she returned

Vanessa Carlton has sure taken a long break. and remember Natalie Imbruglia ("Torn") from 1998? It took her 4 years to release another album, which didnt do too well, sine everyone forgot about her.

In the store in which I work, I have to hear Britney sing "Oops - I Did It Again" at least twice a day, and there ain't thing one I can do about it!
