Which first quarter tv-dvd release were you most happy to see? If it's because of special features, the package presentation or simply because it's a favorite show of yours, what tv-dvd release were you most happy to see released in the first three months of 2004? These are just a few of the sitcom/sketch comedy highlights. If it's not a comedy (Starsky & Hutch, Kung Fu, etc.) you can mention that too if you want.

But my favorite would have to be "Cheers - Season 2" simply because its my favorite show of all time.

But as for special features and packaging -- "The Dick Van Dyke Show - Season 3" by far.
I dont think theres a single classic TVDVD with as good special features as TDVDS sets.

I was nervous wondering if Good Times season 2 would ever come out, so I was happy to see that released, it was one I was waiting for. The Flintstones set has been another one I enjoyed, I grew up with the show, so being able to own the first season episodes is cool. Both of those are simply favorite shows of mine.

The Freaks and Geeks set get my early vote for the 2nd quarter release. Looking forward to the Saved By The Bell and Three's Company sets coming out in a few weeks.

I haven't watched the Dick Van Dyke show since I was young in syndication, I might have to check out those dvd releases to see if they're as good as you say.

If you're even on the edge about getting them -- stop thinking and GO.
No doubt, the best special features on any TVDVD I own.
Not to mention over 30 episode on each season.
Plus bonus episodes from other series.
If you can only get one -- go for Season 2 or 3.
Season 2 would probably be the best bet -- seeing that it has the most episodes, and one of the best special features ever.
It features an episode of an old 60s gameshow in which the cast played against another team made up of big name TV stars of the time. (most importantly -- Mr. French)

With these sets, even the smallest fan becomes a diehard.

Oh, definitely Cheers Season 2. It's one my most fave shows, and I grew up with it (1985-93).

I know the 2nd quarter hasn't ended yet, but here are the following that all get my vote, because they're all my fave shows:

Freaks and Geeks - the complete series (I have it now)
SBTB Seasons 3/4
Three's Company Season 2
Cheers Season 3
