Idol will NOT air tomorrow night

due to President Bush's news conference, however, there is a bit of good news in that you won't have to wait but one night:

Drudge UPDATE: BUSH BUMPS 'IDOL'

FOX will delay this week's AMERICAN IDOL competition by 24 hours, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned, after the White House scheduled a formal Bush press conference during IDOL's Tuesday timeslot.

"We are going live for an hour on Wednesday, and the results from the show will be revealed during a special Thursday night hour too," a FOX source explained from Los Angeles.

I don't know. That's just when they scheduled it. It's not like they are discriminating against it or something. :)

It could be worse... earlier in the day FOX was considering cancelling both shows this week and waiting til next week! :eek:

Tru Calling will air Thursday at 9pm ET/PT Brian. Idol will air 8-9. 24 is being bumped to Sunday at 9pm ET/PT.
