This is so unfair! I love American Idol and I wanna vote how ever many times I want. My parents said from now on I'm only allowed to vote twice. Isn't that mean?? They're so mean!! I'm 12 in a half years old, not 3. I know how to use the phone.
Does anyone else know any other mean parents that only let their kids vote twice?

SO JPL FANS, JASMINE FANS, AND DIANA FANS,

PLEASE VOTE EXTRA TIMES FOR ME!!!
THANKS SO MUCH!!

PS- My parents know it's toll free to vote, but they still will only let me vote twice. I can't stand it! They're so mean!!

And guess what else!

I asked my Dad when I will be allowed to vote how ever many times I want, he said when I'm 18.

HOW RUDE!!

Why? That's kinda... weird. It's not like it's anything illegal or potentially harmful.

My mom lets me vote as many times as I want. She even helped me and voted 10 times.

Of course your parents let you vote as many times as you want. Normal parents do normal things. And your parents are normal (at least they sound like it).

My parents said I can't vote as much as I want because they thinks it would be unfair to the singers.
OK LIKE IS THAT LIKE THE WEIRDEST THING YOU EVER HEARD???
EVERYONE VOTES MORE THAN TWICE!

They know it's free, but they just think it's unfair to the singers to vote more than once. But they're WRONG!

What would you do if you were me?

My parents think people that vote more than once are crazy. My parents are strange sometimes.....but I'm not strange! I promise!

tuedsays episode had 22.4 million viewers, but over 24 million votes came in. Not ever viewer votes, and the amount of votes is over the viewers watching, meaning that people vote way more than one time

Thanks for telling me. But you don't understand. My parents could care less about all that (meaning they don't care what other people do). They just do what they wanna do.

It's nice that you're trying to help me, but it won't work.
I guess I'll have to wait five in a half years until I can vote as much as I want...

AikenComany3, I was just wondering...how old are you?
Even though u were 12, would u be able to vote as much as you can?

Is that an insult?

No.

I just mean if that's your biggest problem, consider yourself lucky.
Wait 10 years til you're an adult and have real problems and you'll be chuckling about this.

Oh, spare me. I'm sick of adults saying that rubbish about "consider yourself lucky" "to be young again " when someone young is complaining about something that seems trivial to them. Just because someone is having a problem that is minor compared to serious issues, doesn't mean their comments are out of place... especially on a message board like this. Something new is happening with FullHouseFan8795 pertaining to AI and she's just talking about it. Big deal.

From now on I guess I best not complain on this board about things like Dish Network cutting off channels, shows getting moved to bad time slots, because afterall, there is world hunger and I should feel glad I am able to still eat everyday.

Oh. Do adults have really big problems even though their parents can't boss them around anymore?
I know they have problems about work sometimes though.

I have good news now!
My Dad said I can vote as many times as I want as long as I vote for his favorite as many times as I vote for my favorite. His favorite is George Huff, but I don't like George all that much. But I'll do it because I'll do anything to get to vote for JPL!

And Leah, thanks for offering to vote for extra times for JPL!
