John Peter Lewis Getting Better?

I just started watching American Idol 3 a couple weeks ago. I saw Leah's avaters of John Peter Lewis, and he looked cute so that's how I started watching the show (lol).
Well anyways, has John Peter Lewis done better than he has in the past?
Is Simon's comments making him better?

And about his dance moves...I haven't seen him dance yet, but I heard he dances strange. How does he dance?

IMO, he's gotten worse every week. He had an okay "Tiny Dancer" performance in the top 32 but since then, he's gotten worse and worse I think. I actually liked him at one point...

I think he is getting progressively worse. If he doesn't get his act together soon, he's going to be one of my biggest disappointments in the two years I've been watching AI.

How come? I think the only thing he needs to work on is that he needs to keep his voice louder. Last Tuesday (March 31) the band was louder than him. Other than that, he's REALLY good in my opinion.

He is an ok singer, I'll give him that. I don't think it was the fault of the band for his performance on Tuesday. I think it was more that he picked the wrong song and it was pitchy. The week before, I'd say he was ok but weaker than some of the other performances. But he was good the week before that.

I agree. I also liked "A Little Less Conversation" but after that... man, oh, man.
