Did anybody even check it out?
does the link not work or is it loading slow?
Do you not wanna bother to get the new flashplayer 7? or did it work and it's just a crappy guide?? If you tell me why its crappy i can at least try to make it better.
Well if getting the flash player was the problem you can download the guide from these links below without having to update your flash player. The downloaded guide is better anyway because it has pictures for each episode and guest star info.
Windows:
screen resolution: 800 x 600 (http://www.cs.lmu.edu/~dtavelli/seinfeld/downloads/windows/seinfeldguide800x600.zip) 1024 x 768 (http://www.cs.lmu.edu/~dtavelli/seinfeld/downloads/windows/seinfeldguide1024x768.zip) 1280 x 960 (http://www.cs.lmu.edu/~dtavelli/seinfeld/downloads/windows/seinfeldguide1280x960.zip)

It works and it is an alright guide, but why go through so much trouble when www.tvtome.com has such a great guide already?

Yea that is a good point. Tv Tome does have an awesome guide. That is where I got the episode synopsis' and guest start information I used in this one. (I am also going to add the viewer notes from Tv Tome soon.)
I just thought some other parts could be improved.....
- like how you navigate between episodes
- being able to search it easily (which will work soon).
- Being able to download the guide to your hard drive so you can use it offline and have it load quicker than a 500k page over the net
- I am also working on something that would show the upcoming seinfeld episodes on your tv schedule built into the guide (not the current TVGuide listing button)
I know there are still some things the tvtome seinfeld guide is better at. As far as why 'go through so much trouble', if you mean the trouble of me making the guide, it's because it's my favorite show  And I was trying to take the information from a great guide (tvtome) and improve it by making it easier to use. If you mean why somebody would go through the trouble to download the latest flash plugin, I guess thats up to them, but a lot of very cool things on the internet will be using it soon.
...mostly though i just made it for fun  , i dont expect it to ever overtake tvtome :D

I applaud the effort. Why put a puzzle together, why go to the beach to hit golf balls, why do .... well why not, if its fun what the hell.

Got the search working in my guide now :D
You can search for words in the episodes descriptions, guest stars, or episode titles.
I havent put it on the online version yet so go to the guide page (http://www.cs.lmu.edu/~dtavelli/seinfeld/) and get the downloadable versoion. If per chance you already have the downloaded guide you can use the update tab to get the new version or alternatively use one of the links below:
-search is the nicest when using 1280x960 version
