Next Week's Theme...

I watched Entertainment Tonight 2 nights ago (Tuesday), and Paula Abdul does a little AI segment every now and then. She said that next week's theme is..... let's hear it... country. *yawn*. but actually it isnt as bad as people would think, last year the AI Top 10 did pretty well with country (remember Kim Locke's performance? And Clay's.. and ruben and kim c and all them)

In some interviews i read, they plan to have a big band night, and a disco night yet again

PBLEWWWWWWW!! Ugh, country?! Meangya. :lol: I remember Clays performance because I have it DL'd, but the others I dont.. but Im just not impressed with country songs. :o Disco night?! Gaah that would be awesome. I know the judges werent all that thrilled about it last year, but disco night was one of my fav. themes. Aaahaha.. Rickey with the 'fro.:lol:

My father knew about it last night. He heard it on the radio (a local country station) on the way home from work. I'm not too fond of country music, either, but my parents are big fans of it.

BTW, they said that Josh Gracin from AI2 has a single out that has been played on the station a number of times. Anybody hear about that?

If thats the case, Matt Rogers will have an opportunity to sound good, but I wonder what John Stevens will do.

Also, i would like the songwriter stuff, like Bacharach or Dianne Warren.. or Neil Sedaka like last year.

Movie Soundtrack week from last year was cool too... as well as Motown. I wonder if their gonna do that this year

I'm not a huge fan of country. I'm interested to see how John Stevens does with it. hmmm.
I cant wait for the Disco theme, I love the 70's music.
