Guys,
A cute little movie from the 80's is on the HBO channels this month. Oh God! Book II. I actually liked this flick and it has some funny moments. The critics hated it! But there is a scene that is no longer in any versions of the movie that I remember seeing when it was on commercial TV:
When Tracy runs away (Louanne) looking for God (George Burns) there is a scene where she is in a park and she sees the back of a man's head. He is an ice cream vender and she calls out to him "GOD!!!" She runs toward the man and he turns toward her and says, "Hi sweetie, what flavor?" She says, "Oh sorry, I thought you were someone else." That scene does not exist in current versions of the movie shown on HBO. There is even a reference to the ice-cream vender when the psychiatrist is talking to Tracy's parents, but it is no longer in the movie.
Does anyone remember this?
