Janet Jackson will Host & Musical Guest on Saturday Night Live April 10th

I am a fan of Saturday Night Live I Don't Like it. To Me She hosting the show only beacuse of the Super Bowl Halftime Show

SNL has been trying to get Janet Jackson for over 10 years. When she was a musical guest in 1994, they wanted her to host and be the musical guest. I am not sure, if she will be funny on SNL. It's been awhile since she acted reguarly in the early 80's.

Another person who I said many times before defently deserves a chance to be a host and musical guest on SNL is Beyonce. She was funny in the Jamia Twin skitch with the rest of Destiny's Child in 2001. I know Beyonce would be great.

ps: a footnote about Janet hosting SNL. One of the castmembers on SNL is Kenan Thompson, he was on a show called "Kenan and Kel", on this show in his characters bedroom was a frame picture of Janet Jackson, (the cover to "janet" album)

I probably won't watch it, although I've got nothing against JJ. I'm sure you good folks will keep me abreast of what goes on. Hope she doesn't make a boob out of herself.

I Love the show they did not talked about the boobs at all and plus she did not play herself too much like Donald Trump did last week it was very good show but the best part of the show when Mr. Mean himself Simon Cowell showed up.

Janet came off better than I expected. I thought she might be shy or nervous like on David Letterman's show, but overall I thought it was a good show. Plus they spoofed my favorite artist (Prince) and one of my favorite tv shows (Good Times), for the most part it was all pretty funny, I actually didn't pay much attention to her musical performances.

I thought there were some funny moments. My favorite part was when she kept messing up "cork sucker." That skit itself was funny.

I don't get why so many people on this thread trashed Janet so badly over Super Bowl.

Come on, if you've hated Janet since the Control album, it'd be different, but it seems like most of the people on the "Janet sucks" bandwagon are the same people who championed her back in the Rhythm Nation/janet. days.

Why is she suddenly trashier than Britney, Christina and co. over the nipple? They've hosted SNL before too

Janet did okay on SNL. The highlights IMO were Good Times and The Prince Show

i didn't know janet could be funny like she was in this show. she was very funny in the sketch where she and the two friends were waiting in line to buy janet jackson concert tickets. as she ages her facial features are looking more and more like her mother and the other siblings. i don't care for her singing though.
