I've read some reviews of this episode and some of the critics put it down. They said that Seinfeld sunk to "new lows." What do y'all think?

I've heard similar stuff, but to be perfectly honest, I don't think it was morbid or low brow.

I actually remember when it aired for the first time, I dont recall anyone having anything against it.
After the anthrax scare in 2001 they stopped showing this episode in syndication for a while.

It was prob thought of as possible (forgive me ;) ) jump the shark moment for the show.
At least the silly anthrax reasoning didn't last too long. The show would have ate that up & wrote new counter stuff if it got banned while the show was airing.
(PS- anthrax is NOT silly, banning that ep for it was)
