I picked Sunset Park as my favorite although I like most of the others, especially Soul In The Hole and He Got Game.

Sunset Park, Above The Rim, White Men Can't Jump are my favorites. Sunset Park was hilarious. I used to have on that tape. I like the part when the team is on the school bus to go to a game. Butter is telling some dudes that it's only natural that girls be sweatin him, i'm averaging 17 points a game, my pockets stay fat, i was in the shower the other night with this honey & she says to me. Then Drano interrupts & says niqqa with yo broke ass & u stupid too, big dirty old ass niqqa still in the 10th grade, what u need to do is get out of the shower before i call ya momma is what she said & then the dudes on the bus started laughin hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I used to have the Soul In The Hole soundtrack. It was a pretty good soundtrack. Rappers Wu Tang Clan, O.C., M.O.P., Smif N Wessun aka Cocoa Brovaz, Brand Nubian, Common, Organized Konfusion(Pharoahe Monch used to be in this group), Mobb Deep, Sauce Money were on the soundtrack. I never saw the movie though.

I loved Basketball Diaries. White Men Can't Jump was also a very good movie.

Hoop Dreams, hands down! This is probably the easiest choice Iv'e ever had making a decision in one of these polls. Definitely the best, and most true to life documentary Iv'e ever seen. One of the biggest travesties in Academy Awards history, is the fact that this film wasn't nominated for best documentary. It should have been nominated, and won not only for best documentary, but best picture of the year in my opinion. My second favorite 90's basketball movie is White Men Can't Jump. Great film!

I agree with you on a lot of the movies we've both seen but man, I hated White Men Can't Jump.

I voted 'other'- for Celtic Pride! I've seen White Men Can't Jump a few times, and never followed it well- kind of slow IMO. Space Jam, I liked when it was released, and is still good. But Celtic Pride was quite a funny film (not in my top 30 probably, but pretty funny).

He Got Game is the only one I've seen so I voted for that.

White Men Can't Jump.

I loved this movie before I had ever even seen Cheers.
and I DIDNT pick it because Woody Harrelson starred in Cheers.
