I have really become addicted to this show over the last 2 months and want to know what its chances of renewal are. I did some research and the good news is that it is doing better in the ratings than a couple other shows ABC has already renewed (i.e. Life with Bonnie). Also I'm sure ABC will take into account how well it was doing (top 25) before American Idol started.
What does everyone think?

I don't know a few shows have just got an extra episode order, this is a sign of renewal. Unfortunatly I'm With Her wasn't one of them. It is possible that this is one of the lowest rated of their sitcoms which totally sucks, but such is life.

It's too early to tell. ABC should realize that as long as Fox insists on airing American Idol on Tuesdays at 8 ET, the fight for the highest ratings in that hour among the Big Three are a fight for a distant second place. "I'm With Her" has done well enough, retaining much of the "8SR" audience (particularly the 18-49 segment of said audience), so maybe it'll be renewed. Remember, "Cheers" was low-rated in its first season on a then-down-and-out network, and it went on to run eleven seasons.
I hope ABC renews "I'm With Her." "Ed" and "Everybody Loves Raymond" may be gone for good, and "Frasier" will be. If "I'm With Her" gets cancelled, I might just throw my TV set out the window! :(

Based on what I have been reading I still think it is better than 50/50 that it will be renewed. With 8SR being renewed and I'm with Her able to sustain most of thier audience it really doesnt make much sense to cancel it. Like has been said....ABC has to be smart enough to relize that "American Idol" is taking a unrealistic chunk of viewers from thier Tuesday night lineup. It is would be more realistic for them to use the pre-idol numbers which were excellent.

I plan to use these talking points in a letter to ABC urging them to renew the show. If you want to write ABC, write them at ABC, Inc., 500 South Buena Vista Street, Burbank, CA 91521-4551, attn: Audience Relations.
There's an e-mail address as well, but I don't have it right now. I'll get back to you all on that. ;)

I agree, but IMO they do hold their own. I think I'm with Her does pretty well, or they wouldn't have even kept in on this long, even with 8SR as a lead in :)
I thought Ed was already gone? That's what TV Guide recently reported :(

NBC said it hasn't made a decision yet, and won't do so until May, even as some jounralists covering television say "Ed" is through. My local paper doesn't know whom to believe!

I heard if you write in to abc it really helps the chances of the show coming back. Tell your step cousins!
