there are a bunch of episodes where jerry calls george biff how did that start i forgot


and why did george quit spelling peoples last names he was good at that well except for that guy at NBC

I could be wrong(and I probably am)but I think Biff was a reference to Biff Loman in A Death of a Salesman.

That is Bif Bri, it's because Bif was the consummate looser with an 'L' tatooed on his forehead :)

because they don't use the same gag in every ep, they try to write "new" jokes for new episodes. It's refered to a couple of times (in Seinesque fashion) then they let it rest.
Only a few gags work time after time, like Kman's entries to 5A, a testament to Michael Richards' comedic skill.
